Dispute Resolution is surprisingly common and is an unavoidable, but inevitable, part of life. We are extremely experienced in dealing with these situations and it allows us to fight your corner with confidence, integrity and tenacity. Our goal is to get people talking to each other, which, in our experience, is the best route to resolution.
If you are a private individual and someone owes you money then your unpaid debt needs to be recovered as soon as possible. Our dispute resolution team has many years' experience in resolving all types of unpaid debts as quickly and amicably as possible. We can also recommend any alternative dispute methods, such as mediation, arbitration or litigation.
These cases can be fraught with emotion and difficulty, especially as loved ones are involved who may have passed on. Therefore, any inheritance disputes are dealt with skilfully, pragmatically and sensitively. An application under the Inheritance Act can be brought if a spouse, former spouse, child, cohabitee or dependent considers that they have not been left reasonable financial provision in a will or by intestacy.

My brother instructed Richard Taylor to act as their legal advisor for a family property matter concerning myself. This solicitor who is a partner in the firm didn’t return calls, messages, e-mails, didn’t respond to my solicitor in Godalming. We couldn’t understand the complete lack of communication. Finally, 4 months down the line and no further forward they terminated his services. I would urge anyone to rethink instructing this firm, and certainly do not hire Richard Taylor. As a family we feel completely let down by the firm.
