Interview preparation is a crucial part of any job search. Regardless of what is written on your CV or your application form, it will be the impression you make upon your interviewer(s) that will make the difference between you getting the job or not. Having been in the recruitment business for more than 25 years, we have plenty of experience of advising and coaching candidates on interview technique.
There are plenty of interview tips Media Contacts can offer whether the interview is in person or online. Frequently interviews are one-on-one and face-to-face, but occasionally the format will differ. We have some advice for dealing with different situations. This document will go through some things we suggest you should do during your interview, and also some things you definitely shouldn't do.
There are some things to consider after your interview, particularly if (when!) you receive a job offer. During your interview, the employer will be evaluating your weaknesses as well as your strengths. These are some common reasons for rejections. A potential employer could make you a job offer in a number of ways - this document will go through them in detail.
Your dedicated account manager will take the time to fully understand your business, so we can work to your precise requirements. Our consultants are specialists, and can provide you solutions to help your business grow and succeed. We add value beyond hiring - we can help with product launches and provide specialist advice dependent on your sector.
Media Contacts conducts a thorough search for candidates, utilising multiple channels, internal and external, before finalising the shortlist/recruitment selection which we send to our clients. Media Contacts generates a continual flow of relevant candidates by advertising in national and specialist press.

Sent my CV, Amy asked to re-send it with the client names next to each job-done it, re-sent it in 2 different formats. Silence for a week- writing to catch up about the application- Amy Pattisson-Emms tells me that I didn't send her my CV with the brand names (which I did) and the position is gone. Great. Communication skills and professionalism booming.
Waste of time really. I hope I am wrong and I was just unlucky to contact Amy.
