Allison founded A.J's Hair Designs in 2001. Allison is a fully qualified Hairdresser and Barber at NVQ Level 3 and is also a lecturer at our training centre, Partners 4 Training, in Uckfield which has been established since 2003. Allison has over 30 years of experience in Hairdressing and welcomes both new and exsisting clientele to our Salon.

Having tried many barbers in Eastbourne over the year I was pleasantly surpursed when I tried my wife's hairdresser AJ's. A really clean friendly salon bubbly staff and a real professional service, loyalty scheme and exceptionally priced. If you don't believe me just try it. We have been clients at AJ's for six years.

She takes the time to find out exactly what you want and always delivers on this. My daughter also now uses this salon. I would not hesitate to recommend AJ's.

I recently visited AJ's for the first time for a free consultation with Allison. I was unsure what I wanted, apart from the option to still put it up on occasions. My hair had become much thinner without any of the body or bounce I had always taken for granted. Allison cut my hair with expert precision and very cautious layering to allow for this and did a lovely blow dry. There is a friendly atmosphere in the salon which is spotlessly clean and parking is free. Congratulations and enjoy your 20 year celebrations on 18th September. Thank you.

Needing to find hairdressers in Eastbourne location, discovered
A J 's Hair Design, very local, decided to try out their services. Booking was made with Maizy, for cut and colour. Results wonderful, great value & would definitely recommend.

Had my hair cut and blow dried by Maisie today and I can’t tell you how much I was impressed by Maisie . She cut my hair so well paying attention to detail telling me what she was doing and checking all the time that I was happy with the way she was cutting it.I can honestly say that this is the best hair cut I’ve had. The salon is so lovely too, clean bright and spacious , very clear covid checks made on entry, masks worn by all. It felt very safe to be there, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming too. I would totally recommend having Maisie do your hair.
