After being in the hairdressing industry for in excess of 20 years, Lorna Established Lorudu in 2016 with a vision to create a new style of hairdressing. Lorudu's main aim was to create a different vision for hairdressing, moving away from time critical functional places. We wanted to create a salon with longer appointment times and a truly warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
We only use the finest double drawn Russian and European hair available on the market, which has been ethically sourced, for our bonded hair extensions. We also use methods that we believe in and have trusted for over 15 years. We offer a bespoke service to each and every client, making your hair extensions as individual as you are.
We've created a stylish and comfortable salon that our clients love to visit, where we combine our expertise with a salon experience to remember. There's additional space between our client chairs so that you don't feel crammed in. The dcor is neutral and we're laid back and friendly. For those of you who want to work during your appointment, we also offer FREE secure Wi-Fi.
We don't just do hair extensions. We offer a full range of hairdressing services from our highly qualified and specialist trained professional. We always provide a professional and personal service, nothing is too much trouble for our clients. We offer, colouring, cutting, styling, gents and children's hairdressing, along with Olaplex and Kerastraight treatments.
We're proud at Lorudu to offer specialist colour and colour correction services. We offer all highlighting and balayage colouring, and we only colour hair with Olaplex/Damage Defy. This is because we feel you get the best out of your colour with an Olaplex treatment. A lot of people get confused as to what Balayage is.

I've been going to Lorudu Hair Salon for just over 12 months now. My hair was in a terrible state.
Lorna explained everything to me and let me know all my options and alternatives to help get me back to a decent state.
She is very honest knowledgeable and truthful and doesn't tell you what you want to hear,but what is the best treatment for my hair.
She basically had to fix another persons mess.
Now I'm looking and feeling fabulous with my hair at it's very best it's ever been.
I trust Lorna implicitly.

I have been coming to Lorna at Lorudu for hair extensions for a couple of years now, and am always over the moon with the high quality of the hair she sources and her excellent bond application, meaning it is impossible to tell I have them in. I have very thin, fine hair so have extensions to thicken it, and Lorna always gives excellent advice and guidance on best hair care maintanence to support the longevity of the bonds and protect my hair. She also is a master colourist. I love going to the salon Lorudu where you get a personal appointment. I would highly recommend Lorna for hair extensions

Lorna has worked miracles with my hair. I took my daughter to Lorna for a colour correction from faded green hair back to a beautiful brunette. Beforehand, I wasn't sure if we could save her hair as it was in very bad shape. Lorna took the time to make sure my daughter felt comfortable, happy and welcomed. She answered all of our questions, was extremely professional and ensured that we… were happy with the process (which was a long one at 7.5 hours). My daughter felt very cared for and well looked after the whole time and Lorna has been available for advice afterwards as well. Both myself and my daughter are absolutely thrilled

Be careful before you depart with your NON REFUNDABLE deposit. My daughter was due to get extensions for her wedding and then lockdown happened. With 2 cancelled dates and a lot of stress Lorna was the only provider we had a problem with. Her attitude was unsympathetic and outright rude at times causing distress to my daughter. We have just had to walk away from her service and £200 NR deposit! Customer Service- Appalling!!!

I visited Lorna after stupidly damaging my hair with home hair dyes during lockdown. Lorna is an extremely experienced hairdresser and clearly knows her stuff! She helped me recover my hair from the first visit… using specialist strengthening treatments and coloured my hair beautifully. What can I say! Lorna was recommended to me by a friend, and went for a consultation ,not realy knowing what to expect. Lorna explained everything in great detail putting me totaly at ease with any concerns I… may have had. I booked in and then went the following week to have my extensions fitted. I have never had extensions that felt and looked so so natural.
