David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the City of London in 1990 and as planned, moved into industry to gain practical hands-on experience, holding a variety of positions including general manager and group financial controller, working across the UK and aboard for a variety of shareholder managed businesses and plcs.
We've worked across many industries, but the creative sector is where we have polished our experience. Our service is part-time Finance Director or non-executive level support, freeing you up from the headache of supporting a full-time resource. Management accounts packed with KPIs, key data, and monthly commentary Finance reporting with the right information, at the right time on how business is performing.
You will, of course, have big business plans, and fundamentally you recognise how important the financial health of your business is, alongside your responsibilities to shareholders, staff, suppliers and other business stakeholders. But you need professional guidance to take the business to the next level.
There is no wrong or right time when deciding to appoint a part-time Financial Director.
