Simon qualified from King's College London in 1988 and started working here in the Rochford Road Dental surgery soon after. He is passionate about his career as a dental surgeon and business owner. He is well known for his boundless energy and enthusiasm which he imparts to his staff and patients alike.
Our dental practice, Pomfret&Farrell Dental has been established at 31 Rochford Road since 1981 and was founded in Chelmsford, Essex, in 1979. We enjoy being a family-friendly dental practice looking after all your general and cosmetic dental needs in a comfortable and modern environment.

Denplan Care is the most popular plan at our practice and it is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your routine and restorative dental treatment. The amount you pay is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need. After an initial assessment by the dentist of your oral health (for which you will be charged) you will be placed into one of five fee categories.

I am beyond terrified of the dentist and I was searching and searching for one who could be patient with me. I am so happy I registered with Promfret & Farrell! Reception team are lovely and very welcoming! I had James as my dentist, he was lovely and extremely patient with me and so was his dental

Have been a patient of Simon Pomfret for over two decades. Had a bad experience elsewhere so was of a nervous disposition at the beginning but was quickly put at ease and I have always received 1st class treatment, in more recent years under DenPlan. Never kept waiting for long. Good efficient staff and modern air-conditioned premises. Highly recommended.

I have been receiving treatment here since September 2015 - and my friend a couple of years longer- we are both receiving benefits, so are NHS patients.
Despite this we have both received absolutely First Class, possibly Harley Street treatment and service.
Our Dentist James, makes us feel comfortable at all times, explaining everything that he is doing at all times and in such a gentle way you hardly notice any dental work being done!
And not to forget the rest of the staff who are always very calm and polite, even at very busy times!
Thank you to you all -i'd give more stars if it was possible
