6 Engineering is a safety engineering consultancy based in the North East of England. We were established in 2011 with the aim of supporting continued improvement in safety engineering, to provide a flexible, reliable and professional service to the major hazard industries. Our founder and director, Nick Howard, holds a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in environmental technology.
Nick is also a qualified Functional Safety Engineer and holds FSEng (TUV Rheinland). Nick started his career as an undergraduate with Teesside Power Station and as a graduate with Mitsui Babcock and Aker Kvaerner. He is also a committee member of the IChemE Teesside branch and supports local schools' career events.
