At George + Co (Scotland) Ltd we deal with a wide and diverse client base, covering the majority of trades and professions, ranging from small sole traders to large limited companies. Our senior accounting team have spent over 50 years in private practice, have extensive experience and provide a professional yet friendly service.
Linda graduated from Edinburgh University in 1983 with a degree in Scots Law, and joined HM Revenue & Customs. She moved into private practice in 1987, working with Lesley and Barbara in our predecessor firms. Linda qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1990. Lesley started her career in 1982 when she joined HM Revenue & Customs.
George and Co guided us with sound advice and good practices in both financial and accounting matters. We have worked with Linda Leaworthy and her team for 20 years now and have always found the service to be prompt, accurate and responsive particularly when faced with the complexities of two temporary overseas assignments to the US and Germany.

I have used George & Co (Scotland) and their predecessors for over 30 years. Whilst my affairs as a professional construction consultant (in earlier years) and as landlord of several domestic properties in more recent years, I have had the need for sound professional accountancy services over that time. This has been provided in the main by Linda Leaworthy and Lesley Stewart of George & Co (the current company name) also supported by other staff over the three decades involved. As well as annual tax submissions this included guidance in setting up a small property company (and its very recent dissolution
