A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Aubrey founded the firm in 1990. Educated at Queen's University, Belfast, he has some 40 years of experience in the accountancy profession and is involved in all aspects of the practice, particularly the SME sector including corporate and individual tax compliance and planning.
We will advise you both on how to comply with your taxation responsibilities and, where possible, plan how to minimize the tax liabilities. This applies to both business and personal tax. We have extensive audit experience in all aspects of business and commerce. Our audit approach is planned to ensure the compliance with current accounting and audit guidelines whilst still maintaining a value for money service. We are registered auditors and are authorised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
If the employee has been employed for less than 12 months, claim for 80% of their average monthly earnings since they started work until the date they are furloughed. If they have been employed for less than a month, work out a pro rata for their earnings so far, and claim for 80%. Employer will still have to pay employer National Insurance and pension contributions on behalf of your furloughed employees and can also claim for these.
