Services
I have been placing dental implants for 29 years so I have a wealth of dental implant experience. This includes hospital based dental implant work, teaching and research. I am regularly consulted for 2nd opinions. I provided re-treatments for patients who have had implant treatment elsewhere and have suffered failures or problems.
We know how distressing dental pain can be. If you are in severe pain, we can usually see you the same day. This applies to new patients as well as existing patients. Please call 01606 75615 and the answering machine will give you an emergency contact number. If you have a dental emergency whilst you are on holiday in this area and you are a Denplan patient, we will do out best to see you ASAP.
Here at Dentist@29 we offer a wide range of dental treatments to ensure healthy teeth and a happy confident smile. Although Peter is known all over the North West for his specialist implant dentistry, Peter has also practiced general or routine dentistry from his Practice in Northwich for the past 32 years.
If you have a severe dental emergency phone Dr Young ASAP during working hours if possible and speak to reception. We can usually see you on the same day for initial evaluation and triage during the week. The NERVE (or dental pulp) in a tooth can die very suddenly: EXTREME PAIN is felt and characteristically the pain wakens up the patient from sleep.
There are various problems that can cause toothache, but the most common is a dental infection. Often toothache creeps up on us slowly, eventually going from manageable to a level of pain that's quite distracting. Although it can be tempting to manage a toothache with painkillers, this can actually mask that the problem is getting worse and gives the infection time to spread.

I had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Young. I can only come to the conclusion that profit came before the welfare of someone who came to him for help.

I went to see Mr Young about potential implants. From the moment I walked into the door it felt very professional and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and Mr Young himself was extremely helpful, patient and understanding of my problem. He explained clearly and very honestly that the procedure that I wanted could not be performed successfully and would not last as long as needed. I found this to be very honest and refreshing in this day and age when most people just wish to make money from a bad situation. It is nice to know that there are some true professionals still out there, especially

My treatment was made easier by the positive outlook
of Dr Young and his staff who carefully and patiently guided me through every step of the way. Exceptional care and skill on behalf of Dr Young.
II am so grateful as I did not feel I could go through with the long process which it needs. My fears were soon put at rest

I was recommended to Dr Young through my partner. I will keep this as short as I can but please read.
I regularly attended my dentist and hygienist for many years, I was told that I had gum disease but never thought anything could be done. I had a problem with two back teeth two years ago, my dentist tried to remove them but they split and it was decided not to proceed with the extraction. I suffered with abcesses on these teeth regularly and just took antibiotics.
My partners dentist was Dr Young and persuaded me to switch for convenience. I'm so glad I did. From my initial consultation with

I recently switched my dentist to Dentist@29. I found Dr Young and his team very knowledgeable and welcoming. The hygienist here is also the best I’ve tried. Very happy I made the switch.
