Lockwood Print is a family run print company based in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. We have been providing print services for over 50 years. We've got the expertise and the equipment to produce everything in-house, ensuring it's on budget and on time, for maximum impact at minimum cost. Our team is dedicated to giving each client the same excellent service and with the wealth of experience we have, every job is top quality too.
Digital print is perfect for shorter print runs - good quality print with no set-up charges ensures a quick turnaround and a cost-effective solution to most of your print needs. Anything from business cards to multiple-page brochures, we provide the best quality print at the best prices. Ideal for larger print runs - our industry leading Heidelberg presses produce the best print quality available.
Digital printing involves the transfer of your images and text from an electronic design and mapping them on paper using tiny droplets of ink. Millions of dots then make up the finished printed item. Digital Printers are either inkjet or dry based printers and use heat transfer to adhere the chosen design to the paper.
Lithographic Printing or Litho printing as it is more commonly referred as, was originally created 1796. It was developed as a cost effective method to produce theatrical works. The item to be printed is transferred to a stone or metal plate which then transferred the design to paper, card and many other materials.
Large format printing allows high quality printing on a much larger scale whilst retaining a very high quality finish. Large format printers are used for a wide variety of uses from larger posters to exhibition panels. The printers can print onto a range of materials and can also be roll feed, significantly increasing the length of the printed item.
