In October of last year this company emailed out of the blue saying that I owed money for a debt that I never took out with a lender by the name of SafeNet for the balance of £529 I began chasing things up and found that there was quite a lot of inconstancies with their claim for example the account where this loan was paid into was based in Chichester and wasn't mine there was a false email, telephone number on the application form and also someone put down that I was in employment when I wasn't I have proved documents both bank statements as well as work history to prove that I never took out

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Completed IVA but Lantern still showing as outstanding on all credit files. Won't respond to any emails. Called and told to just email evidence of completion, i do this and get no reply. Debt has now even settled for 3 months but still showing as outstanding

Took extra payment and never refunded them. Sent 3 emails which I never got reply. Apparently they think if people have debts, then we can afford to send money just like that..well..they just took it when account already was settled. So my payment disappeared in blue sky. Horrible with costumer service. Literaly taking advantage of people with debts.
All what I want is at least an answer about my refund or any answer about what the f*k is wrong with costumer service!

They sent me a letter saying they had "bought my debt" but wouldn't tell me what the debt was for. Just the amount I owe them. Spoke to them several times on the phone to try and find out what the debt was. Eventually I gave up and said "ok you bought my debt. I hope your happy with your purchase. Enjoy it".
Never heard back from them after that. Strange place.

If I could give them 0 I would! Bought my debt off me even though I was in a plan already with another recovery company.
Kept harassing me by calling me, emailing me then they started with the letters. I proved that I was and had been paying the third party company before they even arrived on the scene! They expect me me pay well over £400 a month when my income form quite clearly states I cannot afford that.
I have seaked legal action against Lantern so hopefully they buck their ideas up.

They use diffrent numbers to try to talk to you. I don't have any debt with them. It is harrassing and distressing to say the least. This company is a scam and not to be trusted. I've had phone calls off them now for three days straight. Do not trust or pick up the phone to them.
