You might already know us from our time at Longwell Green Dental Surgery, and if so, it's great to reconnect with you again. But just in case you don't, here's a little information about us.
We are two dentists, husband and wife team who have recently set up a brand new, state-of-the-art dental practice in Hanham. We originally met at Guy's Hospital where we trained to become dentists. Upon qualifying, we moved to Ipswich where we worked for three years before coming to this side of the country, to settle in Barrs Court.

Services
We have benefited from working with excellent staff before, and we therefore spent a great deal of time finding the right people to look after you (and us!). All of our clinical staff are qualified dentists or dental nurses, with many years experience and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
There are a number of frequently asked questions that come our way, and therefore we thought it would be helpful to answer some of them here. If you have a question that isn't answered, please get in touch here. Our practice is in Hanham, about a mile from Longwell Green, and sandwiched between Bristol and Bath.
Our promise to you is that we will always act in your best interests, and where treatment is suggested, provide you with a written treatment plan with our costs explained. Costs will vary dependent on the complexity and time required for each treatment. We are proud to offer affordable and quality private care to families.
We have a very simple ethos: to act in your best interests and to treat you as we would treat a member of our own family. We have never worked any other way, and we have been fortunate to find patients recognising and appreciating the service we provide. Those of you who have been our patients elsewhere, are going to see no difference in the way you are treated in our practice.
We are extremely pleased to inform you that Anthony Glover has joined our practice, and his list is filling fast. Anthony is a great friend of ours and an excellent and compassionate dentist who shares our values. He has worked with us at Longwell Green for 13 years, and joins us now from Charlton Park Dental Practice in Keynsham.

I visited the practice for the first time this morning, having not visited a dentist for around 5 years previously due to anxiety. All the staff were very friendly and everyone went above and beyond in order to make me feel at ease. My dentist Nina was polite and professional and talked me through every step of the appointment which really helped with my anxiety. Overall it was a great experience and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice. I'm now considering swapping the rest of the family to this dentist as the difference in care between Hallows and our original dentist was so substantial

Me and my son have been a patient of James for over 10 years and I could not recommend a better dentist. He and everyone at Hallows make you feel so welcome and at ease.
The practice is just delightful with a light waiting area, refreshments on offer and a lovely book corner for the childern.
Over the years James has amazed me by how understanding he is towards my son (SEN needs), I genuinely could not speak higher of James and Kay. If your looking for a new dentist you should 100% be looking to get on their list.

I have been coming to this surgery for over a year now and had the pleasure of having Paul as my dentist.
Before this for many years I had really bad experiences with dentist specially in the NHS which made me very apprehensive and scared to go back again.
I have decided to go back again as I needed quite a few things to be done and after reading the reviews of this place I decided to give it ago .
BEST DECITION I HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME.
Everyone here is kind and treat customers very well , starting with the receptionist to the Nurses and Dentist alike. Very clear from the start with prices

Hallows is amazing. Forget all your childhood memories of a dentist and head to Hanham. A warm welcome from reception as this was my 1st visit.... even though I have been following Anthony for a few years. Love the lights leading to the 'room with a view' (I did notice ground floor rooms if height is not for you) A very professional and pleasant experience. Easy to reach by car or public transport and an extremely happy environment.

As someone who has grown up dreading my visits to the dentist, and having teeth that reflect this, I cannot praise James Hallows highly enough. He is a friendly, highly skilled and very professional dentist who manages to deliver exceptional treatments (including in my case a very tricky root canal) while making you feel like an old friend just popping round for a cuppa. He really cares about his patients and I would not hesitate to recommend him and his practice to anyone.
I never thought I'd say this, but I now genuinely look forward to my visits to the dentist!
