Beach Hotel
We are an apprentice run (with a little help from us) fourteen-room hotel in Minehead with the beach and South West Coast Path on our doorstep. Our beautiful double rooms showcase the views of our heritage railway, Exmoor and the sea front. We are proud to promote local produce throughout our hotel.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach getaway, or you need to place to rest your head after a day of outdoor adventures, we are here to help! Our apprentices are working with our Head Chef Angus to create the perfect menu for our guests and can't wait to showcase their skills. Sign up to receive latest offers and updates from The Beach Hotel!
Services
We offer 18 double rooms with both seafront views and exclusive views of West Somerset Heritage Railway. Our stunning location on Minehead seafront puts us at a perfect position to stand as a hub for the local community. Today, we are fully committed to helping people in our community to shine. We have continually worked with local organisations such as The Talking Caf, Positive People and The Hope Centre (to name a few!)
Our bright and fresh seaside rooms with a distinct New England vibe, will help you kick back, relax and enjoy the views. All of our rooms are on the first or second floor. Please be aware there is no lift at the hotel, but our staff will always be on hand to assist you up to your room.

We are lucky to have the beach, the West Somerset Railway and the start of the south west coast path right on our doorstep making us the ideal location for a stay to remember. We also offer whole hotel bookings to give groups the opportunity to meet and enjoy privacy in a home away from home.
Each room has a double aspect view of across the Bristol Channel to Wales, some take in the spectacular North Hill, whilst others have a stunning view of that takes in the heritage railway. Not only that, but our front of house team will make you feel welcome and ensure your time with us is perfect.
With stunning costal walks and Exmoor on our doorstep why not bring your dog, as long as it is accompanied by a sensible adult then your dogs are welcome to stay in any of our second floor rooms. Dogs are charged at 5 per dog per night. You will be able to have breakfast with your pooch as we can set you a table in our snug area to allow you to all eat together, (we don't provide dog food).
Favourites from our kitchen include the Famous Beach Fish Pie and Real Thick Milkshakes, both something you do not want to miss! Like everything else in the hotel, the kitchen is apprentice run with a little help from us. Apprentices have a wide range of training from roasting to patisserie meaning there is something for everyone to try from our kitchen.

My brother stayed here and found the standard very good. I found the staff pleasant and helpful.
We joined the party for Sunday breakfast. The food was good but the service was very slow. Probably because it was Sunday

Good location near to the beach. Clean and nicely presented room. Good breakfast. Part of the YMCA and it appears that they provide training for some disadvantaged people, but not much mention of this. I think they should be more open about this as I was pleased to find out. Social enterprise is good. Nonetheless, a very good hotel and I would stay again.
