Here at White Rose Cake Design, we know the world of wedding and celebration cakes can be a little daunting. If you're anything like me, you don't have the time to be sat working out what size tier serves how many, what style of rose (modern, open, whimsical etc etc etc!) and trawling through endless images of wedding cakes, which is where I can definitely help you!
Established in 2010, White Rose Cake Design was created to provide clients with beautiful bespoke wedding cakes. We create traditional wedding cakes, but with a modern twist. All our wedding cakes feature crisp sharp edges and clean lines to really show off the details and feature 4 tall tiers, giving elegance to your cake design.
Naked cakes are amazing! They're one of the hottest cake trends for this year and one I hope will continue for a long time. They're perfect for a rustic, more informal wedding and can be dressed in so many ways. I love their versatility! For a more polished look, why not consider a semi-naked cake, which is a naked cake with a thin coating of buttercream, giving a sleek sharp edged look.
Our birthday cakes and celebration cakes are made to the same high standards as our wedding cakes, as we believe your special occasion deserves the best! Our birthday cakes, christening cakes and other occasion cakes are always baked fresh to order, never frozen.
We use chocolate ganache on all our cakes to give a professional sleek finish, our cakes have 4 deep tiers and we have a delicious range of flavours available to choose from - see our Flavours page for more information.Our celebration cakes start from 45 for a 6 round cake serving approximately 12.

Here at White Rose Cake Design we bake all our cakes from from scratch, using tried and tested recipes and fresh local ingredients including free range eggs, FairTrade cocoa and fresh fruit in our fruit flavours. We also use real alcohol in our boozy flavours! Wedding cakes are finished with ganache, as are our celebration cakes.

Jo made an absolutely beautiful cake for my wedding! It was exactly how I wanted it to look and Jo worked really hard with me to make sure that was the case. It looked fantastic but, just as importantly, it also tasted fantastic! We got loads of comments from guests saying how delicious it was! I would 100% recommend!

Jo created our wedding cake and I can't even begin to describe how beautiful it was. It was everything we had hoped for! The detailing on the ruffles, and the sugar flowers was absolutely incredible. Jo is talented beyond words and her attention to detail with the decoration on our cake was out of this world - BEAUTIFUL! Our guests couldn't believe the flowers weren't real. Jo sent us some different flavours to try and we found it hard to choose between them all they were that good. We chose white rose cake designs to do our wedding cake on Saturday 5th June. We had our wedding cancelled last year due to covid and had to rearrange for this year. Jo was absolutely amazing, we had no issues moving our date with her and she couldn't do enough to make sure everything was perfect for us when our day finally came. The cake and dessert table were amazing, exactly how we had imagined and it all tasted wonderful !! I would highly recommend Jo for any event, the experience is so personal from start to finish, we were over the moon on our wedding.

I asked Jo to create a cake for my best friends baby shower and couldn't be more over the moon with the result. Despite me being terrible with ideas Jo managed to produce the most beautiful naked cake with a floral arrangement, the entire party loved it and i'll definitely be ordering plenty more! The way Jo's cakes look is unbelievable, but the fact they taste even better is mind blowing

Jo at White Rose Cake Design created our wedding cake in November 2019. She was great to work with from the very beginning, taking lots of time to make sure we were happy with the flavours and style of our cake. She has a really handy portal to log in to, where you can upload pictures of designs you like, send message and make payments. She delivered the cake and dressed it beautifully on our wedding day. We had so many comments on how amazing it tasted and looked. We can't fault Jo's work and service, thank you!

I cannot thank Jo at White Rose Cake Design enough for such a beautiful wedding cake. From the very first email to the cake tasting appointment and to the final product, Jo has been friendly, really helpful and very professional. I loved that I was able to design my wedding cake from scratch and that Jo was always happy to advise and make suggestions if needed. All of our guests loved the cake flavours (we had a 3 tier cake with Victoria sponge, lemon and toffee) and it looked amazing in our wedding venue.

This is the 4th time I’ve been back to White Rose Cake Design and every time her work is nothing short of wonderful. In my experience, it is rare to find someone who can make a cake look great and taste great but Jo smashes it out the park. She is phenomenally talented and her artistic skills and attention to detail are second to none. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

After a lovely taste test, Jo provided us with a beautiful semi naked wedding cake, decorated with fresh berries exactly as we wanted. We had vanilla, cherry bakewell and chocolate cake layers. The only reason we have given 4 stars is because the chocolate was not as moist or chocolaty as expected. Even so, we would recommend Jo.
