Hi there Jeremy! Just to say thank you very much for your help and guidance regarding my son Arran and the drink driving case. Simon Conway was absolutely 1st class and made the court appearance so much more easier to deal with. It was so much better to have somebody there who knew how everything worked and made both Arran and myself feel more at ease.
Have you been flashed by a speed camera? Have you received a speeding ticket? Fearing that you may lose your driving licence? Been asked to attend a police station? Have been stopped by the police who say you have been drink driving? We help to lessen your stress. For most people this is the first time they will have encountered the police or the court system and we realise it can be a worrying and daunting experience.
Speeding Offence This is the one area where you are likely to receive penalty points than any other area of driving law. It is especially important if you use your car for work and you are already on 6- 9 points, as any more points may lead to your licence being taken away from you. Even if you have a clean licence, any points may lead to higher insurance premiums and you may feel that you were not to blame.
It is also an offence to be in charge of a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit. However, a motorist will have a defence if it is proven that, at the material time, there was no likelihood of driving that vehicle whilst the proportion of alcohol in their body exceeded the limit. This defence is not likely to be successful where a passenger is prosecuted under this section, who at the time was supervising a "learner" driver.
So even if you know you were not driving but the police believe you were, they request may you to give a breath test. If you refuse, you will be charged with the offence and will be convicted. The range of defences for failing to provide a specimen are limited and largely restricted to circumstances where a person is physically unable to provide sufficient breath in a way that allows the test to be completed.

I'm pretty gutted about my experience with Jeremy Betts. I am due in court in 2 weeks for a driving offence and probably don't have time to find another solicitor, so will have to go through the stress of representing myself, but my experience with Jeremy was just chasing him for answers all the time, then today we had arranged a call to discuss the very personal emotional mitigating circumstances of the driving offense, but he just didn't even bother to call me at the arranged time.
This has been so stressful with no reassurance or help from a person who I would have been paying a lot of money
