Dave Carrie is the driving force behind the South Lakes Building Company and has over 30 years building and construction experience. The company is based in Staveley and also undertake work in Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside and the surrounding Lake District and Cumbria area.
After serving his apprenticeship, he started to specialise in windows, doors and conservatories, firstly gaining extensive experience on the shop floor and then working his way up to production manager for a locally based company in kendal some sixteen years later.

Throughout, the craftsmens attention to detail and finish and in particutar as to how ideas could be developed and improved, was a key factor in our satisfaction with the project outcomes. Although having building work done in your home is seldom easy (or tidy), the Southlakes team did everything possible to minimise any disruption (even to the extent of coming and going through the bathroom window!) and really did tidy up as they went along.
