If your vehicle is 3 years or older you are required by law to have an annual safety check, the ministry of transport test, commonly known as the MoT Test. The purpose of the MoT test is to ensure the vehicle meets the minimum safety level required by law.

I am a female driver who is always worried about taking my car to garages as I have the impression I will be overcharged as I don’t know anything about cars. Well I shouldn’t of worried because From the first time I took my car to EGS the service has been exemplary … I have had electrical work done, MoT’s, tyre changes, services and valet over the last few years. All the work carried out has been superb and exceptionally reasonably priced . My MOT is due and now I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else , John and the team are second to none!

Been using this place for a while now ,all mots and repairs .fantastic service ,always seem to be able to fit you in somehow straight away,very polite ,all work carried out to high standard ,can't tell anyone has worked on the car at all ,no finger marks or mess .they are very easy to deal with ,an seem to go the extra mile ,did some recent engine work on my car all fixed perfect ,then eml light came on weekor two later they sorted it straight away and wouldn't take any payment ,even though it was nothing to do with their work ,great team ,thanks John .

Bought a car here last week only to discover chunks missing and a slash in the tire walls ( these Mot there own cars so could be a little bit lenient) a fogged over headlight not even an advisory saying they’re aware and it’s been noted and the front grill taped in with double sided tape ( new clean white tape like the ones for sticking registration plates on ) im hoping that’s it now for bad bits but the next few week will tell !! Disappointed I have photos of said issues more than willing to share if required

Got an MOT here once, fee and repairs were reasonably priced. It failed on a damaged inside wall of a tyre. 8 months later, had a blow out on same tyre, big hole on inside wall of tyre. Got it to kwikfit and they spotted wheel alignment issue, causing the blowout. I would have expected this to have been spotted on the MOT and advisory given, avoiding me a heavy bill!
