Pamela studied for a Computer Science degree at Newcastle University. Upon graduating she joined a local firm of Chartered Accountants to gain her professional qualification. She stayed with the practice for thirteen years, moving from junior to partner in that time. In 1991 she founded Clarke's Chartered Accountants.

I've known Peter Cronin for quite a few years now, having met him at the old Fitness First gym in High Heaton, Newcastle. Several years later whilst I'm PAYE at work, the band I run was starting to get some decent hotel contracts and things needed to be stepped up a little. They are a very friendly lot at Clarke's, only a small team of four that I'm aware of. It's not mega cheap by any means, but their prices are standard enough (having done some digging prior to signing up) and the graft rate is good. I presume I'm small fry in terms of what I need from them, but they don't let me down and the

I have been a client of Clarke's for over 30 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. All staff are friendly, efficient and keen to help in any way they can - whatever the query! This is a highly professional service with a genuinely personal approach and even though I live many miles away from Newcastle I would not consider anyone else.
