I don't usually give reviews, but this one I have too . I was contacted by Louis , who on the phone sounded professional and made the job sound promising . He sent me an email with some documents to go through and email him back with my interest for the role. Done that , emailed him on LinkedIn and until today I haven't heard from Louis .Called Venn multiple times and all the time Louis is not present and they will pass my message . I find it very disrespectful since I never applied for the role , you guys should have the courtesy to respect every individual and their time. This isn't a game ,

A recruiter (Saffy Patel) from this company contacted me on LinkedIn, completely unprofessional, need to learn how to do recruitment before contacting potential candidates. First asks for a phone number to talk to explain more then follows up with a generic message saying send CV, ridiculous. At least spend some time trying to understand that people are not stupid and can tell whether you have actually looked into their profile before you contact them.

Was approached for a role, actually with one of the emergency services in London, which I was successful for.
Around the announcement of "lockdown" I was asked to physically drop off my passport in person, I tried to reason (I have asthma) and requested under the current Covid situation, can you please accept a copy by email, No!. I travel into town, meet with HR and get sick on my way home, for the next week.
No commitment or communication from Abi at Venn, in fact her phone had been cut off?!!.
Abi actually had the audacity to phone me 6 months later about another job?!!!. No apology, shockingly

I have been with Venn since 2014. I have always found them to be very business like and to the point, describing jobs very accurately and matching me to employers according to my requirements. I find them that they are a very modern agency who treat job candidates as equal and not like the old-fashioned agencies. They are highly competent recruiters who have a wide range of clients, lots of jobs, lots of variety of job roles, and are always extremely polite, friendly and honest. Their payroll is also very fast and competent.

This place is shady. The recruiter was only interested in trying to find out where else I was interviewing at and the pyramid structure of the previous job I worked for. I was literally given a pyramid structure to fill out names. They only call and meet with you for information and have no actual jobs to offer. I found out they called my previous boss to proposition him for open jobs. They say they need your boss's name for a reference but they just want to call them for open vacancies. Beware of this place like the plague.
