Services
Although hidden at the end of a quiet and secluded glen, Dalmunzie has been witness to many events over thousands of years. The visitor today can easily be unaware that Dalmunzie was once home to hundreds of people speaking a language that has only recently disappeared.
The standing stone and burial cairn near the Glenshee parish church date from the Bronze age when people were first settling the area, and the fermtoun of Cuthil (gaelic for clearing in the forest) is of ancient origin and indicates a time when the glen was still heavily wooded.

We've just spent New Year's Eve here and it was brilliant!
I normally don't like New Year's Eve so decided to travel up to Scotland to stay in Dalmunzie Castle. They had a package for new year's eve that also included the 2nd January (incidentally my birthday).
The hotel is charming and the staff were excellent. It is small enough to be able to meet the other guests and spend time chatting by the log/coal fires dotted around.
The food was superb. Each meal well presented with excellent service. The staff are a credit to the hotel.
For the more active, there's no shortage of things to do. My

Lovely location , lots of character to the hotel, the hotel is very clean, the staff are all first class, professional throughout our stay. Drinks are expensive, and you don’t know the prices until you get your final bill because throughout your stay everything is added daily. Food is also expensive be prepared to pay on average each evening £50-£60 per person , average cost of meal per person is £45 , so depending on what you drink can cost you a pretty penny.
One lime and Soda is £4.50, a bottle of pale Ale £6.95, average price per bottle of wine £50. Do not buy soup and a sandwich from

I travelled to Scotland with my father 2 years ago early spring, we rent a car and went north to Explorer the highlands. We stayed at different hotels every night, this place was absolutely amazing. Beautiful walking trails and easy enough for my father to walk with me, stunning view any direction you looked.
I loved seeing my father so satisfied, happy and calm.
The staff was so sweet and really took care of us, The food was delicious. We only stayed one night because it was our last day before travelling back home so we had to go up really early before breakfast. But The Lady was awake, gave
