Loftplan

Loftplan did an excellent job from start to finish. We were looking for a company that would take the stress away from us and project manage everything for us. We wanted to create an office and walking wardrobe storage space. From the initial consultation to architecture meetings and building regulations, this was handled by them. They even took the pain away from us regarding skip hire.

All the teams that were involved put in a hard days work and were polite and courteous throughout. They even gave good advice for extra space. This went down as a treat, and we have ended up with exactly what we were after. They cleaned up as they went. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Special thanks go to Nicola (the office manager), she handled everything for us and kept us up to date. Bob (Senior Work Supervisor) popped in regularly with his 40 years plus experience, but rarely had to instruct the team as they had done a great job. Dean/Ritchie/Brendon/John/Mike/Alan etc everyone were a credit to the company.

Loftplan has done a fantastic job converting our loft into a stunning master bedroom with an en-suite. From day one their team has been professional, courteous and incredibly helpful. We are absolutely delighted with the results and would highly recommend Loftplan to anyone considering a loft conversion.

We chose Loft Plan for our loft conversion because they offered a complete start-to-finish service, covering everything from design through to the finishing touches, which allowed us to avoid the hassle of coordinating multiple contractors. We only needed to arrange a tiler for the bathroom and supply our chosen bathroom fittings, as Loft Plan handled all other aspects.

Throughout the project, all the tradesmen from Loft Plan were polite and professional, from the initial scaffolders to the carpenter handling the final details. We experienced minimal disruption to our daily life and were able to continue living in the house while work was underway. The structural work was accessed from the scaffolding initially, with only minimal intrusion into our living space when it was time to install the stairs.

Even after the work moved into the house, we managed to maintain our normal routine with little disturbance. Having Bob, our dedicated project supervisor, made the process much easier. He was responsive to our design choices, and the team worked hard to bring our vision to life. Overall, I would recommend Loft Plan for anyone considering a loft conversion, especially if you want to continue living in your home during the project and prefer not to manage the project yourself.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Loftplan for all your help. The project was very smooth from the get go, and the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail is brilliant. All the workmen cleared up their mess at the end of every day thoroughly and even our neighbours commented on how polite and considerate Loftplan have been throughout the whole process.

Loft Plan have been absolutely superb and we're delighted with our finished loft. The build started in February and finished in early June, but throughout the entire process the Loft Plan team have been on hand to help, provide recommendations and advise. As you can expect, there were different teams involved in the build process itself but they were all polite, punctual, courteous and focused on doing the best job possible for us.

Loftplan Designs have completed our second loft conversion for us and the service from start to end has been magnificent. Nicola has been outstanding with ensuring we had a clear schedule of work and helped clarify our questions efficiently and promptly. I would recommend Loft-Plan. From the initial meeting, discussions and talking through what we were looking for and what could be accomplished with our space, suggestions that our advisor made meant that we were reassured about the space that we could expect, which was beyond our initial expectations. The quoting process was clear to us, transparent in what was covered and laid out in a easy to manage set of works milestone related payments which made everything easier from the financial side.

We have had a great experience with Loftplan, everyone has been very friendly, helpful, very skilled and also very tidy! The whole process was handled swiftly by our friendly project coordinators keeping us informed at every step and organising the teams to fit in quickly around each other. It was a really good experience and we are very satisfied with the results.

The execution of the project was excellent. Their engineers are their own employees, and consequently dedicated and available to complete the job efficiently. Installed items were all great quality that you would use yourself. Even snagged and finished-off nicely when asked. Trust is required when kicking-off the project, and the many projects they complete each year provide confidence in having a great team of all-round engineers.

Loftplan were excellent from day one sorting out our loft conversion. They planned it meticulously and all the work was carried out as expected and on time. All the guys who came to the house were courteous and well mannered - it was a great experience and we now have a stunning master bedroom instead of a murky old loft!

Overall we had a very positive experience with Loftplan. The work was done to an extremely high standard and everything was managed really well without us having to get overly involved (which is what we wanted). The builders, plumbers, electricians and carpenters were all highly skilled and overall really nice people. Anything we needed done as an extra was supported and arranged and all costs were up front and accurate.

We paid exact quote and any changes we made (because we wanted something different) were communicated up front and costs were exact. We had one thing on the snag list and it was fixed quickly. We would absolutely recommend Loftplan to anyone in future from our experience. Thank you.

I am exceedingly pleased with the loft conversion that Loftplan have just completed at my home in Godalming, Surrey - the team have exceeded my expectations. They provided expert guidance and suggestions right from the start, which ultimately made the project even better than my original vision. The craftsmanship and attention to detail demonstrated by the entire crew was outstanding.

Particular mention to Chris who performed the initial structural work - a true craftsman. We were looking at building firms for this project. Then we decided a specialist loft company would be better! We had a recommendation from a friend. We havent been disappointed! An architect told us our loft space was too small for a viable room, but its lovely. Our room of choice now. No hesitation in recommending loftplan!

The team at Loftplan kept us informed about our build throughout the whole process, and the quality of their work and attention to detail is exceptional. The first fix team (Mike, Dave and Bob) worked so hard during the heatwave in the summer and it's thanks to their planning that we have such a great space now. From the seamless carpentry to professional electricians and plumbers, our loft conversion has really opened up our home.

I have recently had my loft conversion completed by Loftplan and I am really happy with the new space created. I was excited with the plans and designs that Loftplan came up with and felt that they understood what I wanted from the loft and the budget I had to work with. As they manage the project from design to completion, it made the process much less stressful that I had anticipated.

I had been worried about starting such a big project alongside working/living at home, but the team on site were very professional, friendly and always left the site clean and tidy each day. I was really impressed with the high quality work of all the tradespeople that worked on our loft. The initial fix team took the time to explain everything to us and Bob visited the site regularly and kept us updated with the progress at each stage.

It was always easy to reach Loftplan with any questions or queries throughout the work. Loftplan came up with solutions to any problems encountered and I always felt confident that Loftplan were aiming to give us the best possible space.

After getting several different quotes we decided to go with Loftplan, we have a timber framed structure and Loftplan were the only ones that were completely confident in how they would carry out the job, without potential additional charges. We felt confident that they knew what they were doing. The first fix started with Mike and Andy, we cant recommend them highly enough, the quality of their work was outstanding, they were friendly and accommodating.

Also highly recommend Sam the plumber who is very skilled at his job. Shaun the carpenter who worked tirelessly and patiently to get things exactly how we wanted them. Then finally Brian who did the final finishing touches to get things perfect ready for decorating. Were very happy with the huge space that we now have and after deliberating for so long were so glad we decided to go ahead with the work.

We planned a left conversion to add a new bedroom and en-suite to our house and honestly we are so happy with the results they have surpassed our expectations. The trades employed by Loftplan designs were all very professional and the drawings of the completed loft allowed us to maximise the room layout and specification. The quality of finish is terrific and dealing with the office staff has been easy and comfortable with staged payments easily explained and outlined.

I now have a much needed 3rd bedroom thanks to Loftplan. They are an incredibly professional company, with fantastic teams of people. From the start, Mike and Andy were the first team and were so polite and considerate. The build was constantly checked by site managers Bob and Kevin who were very quick to rectify anything they felt could be improved. Nicola in the office also kept me updated on the next steps which was so helpful.

They were all a pleasure to deal with. I cant thank everyone enough and I wish I remembered all the names - from the scaffolding team, the plumbers, plasterers, the chaps that installed the stairs, the carpenters, electricians, they were all a great friendly bunch and worked to such high standards. At the end of each day everything was always left spotless! I definitely recommend Loftplan, it was a very stress free project for me!

Dormer loft conversion. Loft plan completed our conversion at the end of January 2020 and we couldnt be more impressed with the overall service we received. From the beginning the team were considerate and each day invited us to have a look at what had been achieved that day. The roofers, electricians, plumbers and carpenter worked to an excellent standard, were approachable and nothing seemed to much trouble for them.

They were polite and friendly and even hoovered at the end of the day! Our new en-suite bedroom with a Juliette balcony is a stunning addition to our home and we look forward to admiring the views over the Ridgeway and the Downs for years to come. LoftPlan have transformed our 3 bedroom home to a well designed 4 bedroom. Loftplan created a dormer for us with an en-suite and also changed the 2nd floor to make full use of the floor plan. We were really happy with Alan, Luke and Bob in particular but we couldnt fault anyone. We really did trust them to do a good job and any queries were quickly resolved. I would certainly recommend this company.

Loftplan completed our loft conversion in February 2020 and we couldnt have been more impressed with the service we received. From the outset the team were thoughtful, considerate, and responsive to any requests we had. We thought that the build would be disruptive but thanks to their planning and hard work it absolutely wasnt. They even vacuumed the house at the end of each day! Happy to have chosen LoftPlan. We had a few contractors and specialist loft conversion companies tendering for the works. It is, to be honest - a quandary working out the strengths and weaknesses of the aforementioned, as it is basically, taking their word that they wont destroy your pride and joy - your home! LoftPlan were very efficient, careful and tidy all throughout the renovations and dealt with any planning questions or any concerns we had extremely quickly.

A cracking company. Friendly, hard-working and experienced craftsman; great management and project planning; and - most importantly - a quality build. Every liveried Loftplan worker impressed, but first fixers Craig and Neil deserve particular praise for their hard work, good humour and flexibility in accommodating us as our ideas evolved. The guys inspired absolute trust and we couldn't have asked for more. From the moment the build began, we had that feeling that we were in safe hands. We were. We engaged Loftplan to convert our bungalow loft into an additional bedroom, en-suite and to include a side dormer and velux windows. We already had a design and plans and at our first meeting it became clear Loftplan were exceptionally knowledgeable in their field. We had a complex roof structure where a flat roof extension joined the existing roof and this proved no issue for them.

We employed Loftplan to carry out the structural element, Velux Windows, Dormer and Staircase because my husband can complete the remainder. We found Loftplan very flexible in accommodating our needs and every element was carried out to a superb standard. Chris our senior fitter was nothing short of amazing, a great work ethic, polite, tidy, good timekeeping and he went above and beyond in assisting our old four legged friend during the course of the works.

The team were all trustworthy and we were more than happy to leave them at our home while we were out at work. We were kept well informed at each stage and always felt comfortable discussing possible tweaks to the design, which were always well received and accommodated by Loftplan. Other particular members of the team who were all excellent were Mike, Bob, Kevin and our joiner who put in the beautiful Oak and glass staircase, Martin. Overall we highly recommend Loftplan for anyone considering loft conversion of any kind.

LoftPlan have just completed a loft conversion for us from basic storage accessed via a loft ladder to a double bedroom with cupboards, a storage room and a bathroom via a staircase. They proved to be a thoroughly professional and trustworthy company and we are delighted we chose them for the work. Any problems were quickly sorted out and literally everyone working on the job were friendly and approachable. Thoroughly recommended.

Loft Plan did our loft recently and I am very satisfied with the result so far. Their design was far better that other companies. They also have a very establish process which is based on their experience in this business. They were also very accommodating during the whole process and worked with us to tackle some of the challenges we faced during the project. The quality of their work and finish is very high. Also their support and care after the project has been very good so far.

Great workmanship, trustworthy people, lovely team! Loftplan converted our attic into a beautiful bedroom, playroom and en suite. We are really pleased with our loft, it took several months to complete and there weren't any hidden costs or nasty surprises. This project was a challenge for us with two yappy dogs and a child and there were moments when we wondered if we were going to get through the project. However, this was overcome by the professionalism of Loftplan team.

The project was overseen by two supervisors, Bob and Kevin, who were highly experienced. They gave great attention to details. We can also mention Warren, the carpenter, who delivered a very high standard of work, punctuality and an excellent manner. The loftplan team always came back if we had an issue with very minor snags and sorted this problem without hesitation. Very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone. This positive experience with loftplan restored my faith in the building industry.

I would like to thank Loftplan very much for the fantastic loft conversion they have just completed on my property. It has given me a very large bedroom with plenty of roof height and space. The builders Craig and Jack worked non stop all day with Craig actually being able to make a very uneven roof level again. They were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Bob made the stairs look great and in keeping within the lounge area. David kept in touch and visited the site regularly.

My surrounding neighbours are telling me that the new roof and end gable looks in keeping with other properties in the area. this is thanks to the brilliant job the roofers did, even getting the ridge tiles to match. I would recommend Loftplan and as I write this review they are at my neighbours putting in a huge dorma and loft conversion after seeing how mine has improved my living space. Loftplan have made our house into a home. We are truly over the moon with the play/cinema room they have helped create in our new loft. We found both the office and the builders to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional and put us at ease with any concerns. Both Ben and Mark, the builders did a stunning job.
