Celebrate the joy of your baby’s first birthday with a cake smash session! This playful session combines sweet portraits with a fun cake smash, where your little one can enjoy a cake created just for them. The session takes place in my Glasgow studio and begins with a mini portrait shoot before the cake smashing begins. We wrap up with a bubbly bath to create even more precious memories. Each cake is crafted by a top designer, and themed outfits and props make every session unique. Book in advance to capture these cherished first birthday moments!

2024 update - we did come back for my daughter's first birthday and this photoshoot was so fun for her and us. Beautiful photos to keep forever! Louise was absolutely fantastic with my little girl (who was only 5 pounds at the time of the photoshoot) and with myself and my partner (we aren't used to getting photos taken and she put us right at ease). The pictures turned out amazing and I'm so happy we picked Louise to help capture this very special time We'll definitely be back for my girls 1st birthday photos!

My sister bought the cake and splash package for my little boys first birthday & right from the minute you arrive Louise makes you feel very welcome & she was brilliant with Roman even when he wouldn't play ball. So many different props and outfits and the cake was lovely and well presented. Pictures turned out absolutely amazing & I'll definitely be using in future for anymore photoshoots.

Louise was absolutely brilliant with our newborn on the day of his pictures. She was so patient and understanding when he needed times for feeds/changes and had a magic touch for getting him settled for his photos. Louise was so professional with her emails and services offered. she really does thing of every last detail. The final pictures are amazing.we couldn't have wished for them to turn out any better!

Louise was so patient and natural with our baby which made both him and us feel more relaxed and comfortable during the session.
The room was nice and warm, and louise had a wide variety of props and outfits to choose from. We never felt any time pressure and had plenty of time for feeds and changes. Even when our little boy wasn't cooperating louise never rushed us, she helped soothe him and made sure he was comfortable and settled before continuing with the shoot. I would highly recommend Louise for anyone looking for a newborn photoshoot.

We took our 1 week old to Louise for a photo shoot and couldn't be happier with the results. The photos are very natural looking and are extremely high quality. Louise was a natural with our baby and made him really comfortable. The room was nice and warm for him and there was a comfortable area for my wife and I too! We weren't pressured with a time to finish the shoot, so it made everything stress free and gave us time to change and feed him when needed. I would highly recommend Louise for you newborn photos. We are planning to go back again for a cake smash shoot when he is 1 year old!

I have just received my images from my newborn photoshoot with Louise and am so delighted with them that I had to leave a review. I opted for the Amore Package and I am so glad that I did as I would never have been able to choose only some from the beautiful images that were taken! From the first enquiry I made when i found out I was pregnant, Louise was extremely professional and replied to my emails promptly!
At the beginning of the photoshoot I showed Louise some photos that I liked from her Instagram and despite some of the images being harder to get due to my little girl being a bit more alert at times, Louise was so patient and was able to still get all the photos I was hoping for! Louise was so professional throughout the shoot and was really fantastic with my little girl aswell! The images are unbelievably beautiful and so timeless and i honestly could not recommend her enough!

This was our first newborn photoshoot and found Louise very professional in her approach and was very welcoming and handled our little love one with care. After seeing Louise's work and the quality of the photos we decided to go with the full package as we couldn't decide on which photos we would leave out. I would highly recommend Louise for a newborn photoshoot.

I have had a couple of sessions with Louise this year and have been absolutely delighted with my photos. I chose to have a maternity session to have lovely memories of my first pregnancy and I also booked a newborn session for my baby. The maternity photos were just beautiful and my husband and I really enjoyed the session in the studio. It was relaxed and informal but always professional and we had so much fun creating our photos.
We didn't manage the newborn photos as our baby girl was born during lockdown but we managed to get photos with Louise when our daughter was around 4 months old. Louise was fantastic again and was so relaxed, friendly and flexible when working with our daughter to get beautiful photos whilst working at her pace (including working around a nap time!).
We also managed to get some lovely family photos included in our baby session because they would have been included in the newborn shoot that we had originally booked. For both sessions we struggled to narrow down our photo choices to purchase because there were far too many good ones to pick from! I would definitely recommend Louise for maternity, baby and family photography. I will definitely book sessions in the future.

Our newborn photoshoot with Louise was the best experience from start to finish, with it being the first outing with our newborn we were nervous but there was no need, as soon as we arrived we felt totally relaxed, Louise makes sure there is plenty of time factored in for feeds/changes/and cuddles when required. The photoshoot was amazing to watch, Louise is so professional and gets the right positions with total ease and, if baby isn't feeling it then it's not forced.
The end results were absolutely amazing and we are delighted with them and so are our family who we gifted copies to. Would highly recommended a photoshoot with Louise and will be recommended to any family/friends who have a newborn.

Louise was very friendly, brilliant with our baby and an absolutely amazing photographer for our newborn shoot. We were very pleased with how well our photos turned out. We had our shoot in July 2020, during the pandemic, and she followed all government guidance and strict hygiene measures which made us feel very comfortable. We had a newborn session with Louise when our son was just 7 days old. Louise was amazing! We were apprehensive as we were barely getting an hours sleep, never mind him sleeping and being posed for pictures, but Louise totally put him at ease and he was a little angel! As the studio is at her home you feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you go in!
And there are lots of different backgrounds, props, wraps and outfits to chose from. I couldn't recommend Louise enough and we will definitely be booking a cake smash for Rory's first birthday!

I've used Louise for a newborn and a baby photo shoot. The photos we got were amazing and will be cherished forever. Her studio is relaxed and Louise's calming manner helps make it a good experience. She is very accommodating of baby's needs so it's fine to stop and feed, change etc. Professionalism.

Louise done a newborn shoot for our little girl, she was brilliant from the moment we walked into the studio, very welcoming and spoke through what would happen durning the shoot. Louise has the patience of a saint, Freya was slightly unsettled at the start of the shoot but Louise was able to effortlessly get her back to sleep. Louise has a huge range of stunning wraps and props to suit all tastes.
Our photos are absolutely stunning and we love them all. We would recommend Louise for anyone looking to have a Newborn shoot done and we have already spoke about returning to her to do a Cake Smash shoot for Freya's first birthday. Thanks again Louise!

Louise did a full day lifestyle shoot with my dog and myself and she was so lovely to work with. She was amazing with my dog - bringing him treats and making sure they were the best of buddies before she even took her first shot. She was so much fun to be spend time with and best of all the images she created were amazing. I can not recommend Louise enough.
