Das and Richard arrived in the snow this morning and moved us down three flights of stairs out of our flat and into our forever home. They were the professional, speedy and personable and one of the better quotes we received too. Make sure you have coffee in. I don't know how these guys do it, make it look like a king size mattress is a cloud. Thanks guys! Would 100% recommend and use again. Hopefully no snow!

We would just like to say what a professional company this turned out to be when we used them for our house contents removal from Queensbury to Riddlesden on 3rd. December 2020. Booking was made without any fuss with the help of the superbly efficient and friendly Polly, the van arrived early which gave us a head start and the two young guys doing the lifting and carrying (Ryan and Mark) were fantastic working tirelessly to get us out of our old address well before the allotted time, can't praise this company and the guys enough and I'm please to say that the care they took resulted in absolutely no damage whatsoever, I would recommend Shires to anyone looking for a good reliably remover. We moved from Yorkshire to Norfolk with Shires. I would like to praise all the removers, for their professionalism and skill but especially their patience in the very difficult situation we found ourselves in, where we struggled to get the vendor to leave the premises in time for them to unload and then get back to Kinsley. they did it- but on no lunch or break. Good work.

Absolutely brilliant service. From the moment Darren came to give me a quote, which was returned very promptly, happy with the quote I decided to proceed. From the ongoing correspondence with the office staff (Poppy, Kaye and Lesley) up until my actual move, was all professional to the guys coming to pick my goods up the day before. They arrived on time on both days, even after a 2 hour drive. Joshua and Ryan just got on and moved my goods with no fuss and were very hard working and I was extremely happy with how it all went.
I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them, as when moving house, you want the least stress you can and it made it extremely stress free with the staff, so thank you guys. p.s. My father in law is now using shires to move in the next couple of weeks, as a result.

Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Could not use the initial quote from because my Mum fell ill. But two years later I returned to them because of the competitive price and comprehensive service. They packed, moved and stored. Everything was done with professional, courtesy and kindness. This is the second time we have used Shires and would use them again no problem. Fantastic service from getting the quote to taking the last piece of furniture off. It was one if the hottest days and they worked their socks off. Never stopping only for a quick drink that I made them both have as it was so hot. I cannot stress how brilliant this firm is made a day that could have been stressful a pleasure keeping me calm and reassured me throughout the process. FANTASTIC

This firm managed and sorted my removal with ease. Brilliantly organised from the office to our home. The two guys Dean and Ash were marvellous they worked as a great team and with loads of patience and stamina. They didn't rush us, talked us through everything.
