Load testing is a process of applying loads to a structure in order to assess its strength, stability, and overall performance. In structural engineering, load testing is a critical step in ensuring that a structure can support its intended use and the loads it is expected to encounter over its lifespan.
In line with BRE IP 7/02 and the latest guidance from the British Government, our expert structural investigation team is ready to conduct a comprehensive RAAC survey of your building. We utilize a combination of visual assessments, non-destructive and intrusive sampling, and laboratory testing to accurately identify the presence of this potentially hazardous material.
CBR testing involves compacting a soil sample within a mould under specified conditions of moisture and density. A plunger is then used to apply a load to the soil at a controlled rate. The test measures the pressure required to penetrate the soil with the plunger at a specific depth and compares it to the pressure needed to penetrate a standard material, usually crushed stone. 
Pile integrity testing is a cost-effective and efficient method for assessing the condition of piles without requiring expensive excavations, physical exposure of the piles, or ground disturbance 
Pull off and pull out testing to BS 8539 assesses the strength and reliability of fixings, anchors, and structural elements. These tests measure the force required to pull a fixing or anchor from its substrate, ensuring compliance with safety standards
