Amazing service from the beginning to the end, we recently moved with Ben and I cannot speak more highly of his work. He disassembled and reassembled items like a pro took so much care whilst moving items, providing covered for sofas and the TV. He understands how valuable your possessions and home are, from covering the doors at both homes and the carpets for maximum protection. I cannot thank him enough and even with all the business of the day he still took the time to play with my 3 month old. Thank you so much Ben!

We moved with Turtons a few weeks ago. It was a bit short notice on our part but ben came out and give us a quote and talked us htrough the process. On the day of the move a man from Morpeth (forgot name) turned up early and started to prep for the move so there would be no damage. George turned up and the 2 of them quickly and efficently loaded the vans up. We had to wait around a bit for the keys and this was no problem. Unloaded the vans. They were both friendly and very helpful

We booked Turtons for a move in November this year and I was really impressed with their service. In terms of booking them it was really easy to get a quote and they offered a reasonable price. I found Ben really helpful in the run up, he was really responsive and happy to answer questions about packing and the process. On the day, they arrived promptly and were careful, polite and efficient. It made the move much less stressful and I wonder why we've ever tried to move by ourselves in the past!

Turton's moved us from Seahouses to Thurso in September 2022. They were absolutely magnificent; professional, efficient and calm throughout. This was despite a major road hold-up on the road north. Nothing was damaged and we can contrast their performance with that of our new internet providers, who took almost two months to get our service running-hence the lateness of this review! They have to be the nicest and most professional team of movers I have come across. We will definitely be using them again. We needed a rather large piano moved from passageway to dining room via the garage, 400lb in weight. They moved it with ease. Taking time to ensure it was protected. Absolutely first class.

The Turton's team really went out of their way to ensure our move was as painless and organised as possible. They were also able to accomodate awkward changes that we asked for at the last minute! They helped reduce the stress of moving day greatly.

Ben and his team were great. Really polite friendly guys. It wasn't an easy job moving our furniture due to access difficulties but they ploughed on and didn't complain at all. Turton's helped us with our recent office move and I can't thank them enough for their patience and professionalism, especially during the last-minute changes and delays we had on the day. They even organised a specialist to move and reinstate our IT equipment as it was something we were really woried about. Would be happy to use them again although would prefer to never move again if we can help it.

I can't recommend this removal company enough! Firstly they offered an extremely good price for our move, and we contacted them several times before our move to show them what we had and organise the details of the moving day, including pre packing the day before to reduce the time and stress on the day. Everything in both houses were covered and padded to avoid damage to walls/doors/staircases etc.

We had a number of hard to move items such as a piano, small trees etc, and our new house was in a difficult location on a small country road with a steep drive.they handled everything perfectly! Extremely professional, very hard working and best of all, being such nice people, I really enjoyed their company on the day. They took all the stress out of moving and did an amazing job. We used Turtons to move two houses into one new house and moved from Newcastle up to Rothbury, and from the beginning they made it really easy and stress free. The booking process and paying the deposit was easy, the vans turned up on time and the guys put floor coverings down on all the areas they were going to walk. They had additional coverings for all the furniture to ensure nothing was damaged, and worked tirelessly all day to get 3 vans loaded and to get us moved into our new house (despite all the steps at the front!).

The guys were pleasant, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again. Thanks for making a stressful day much much easier for us!

My wife and myself have just completed a house move with Turton's Removals, moving 70 miles from our previous address. We chose Turton's due to the attention to detail and friendliness displayed during the initial survey by Ben. The price was competitive with other quotes we had, some who used vans and others with a single large truck. The move required 3 Luton type vans due to the amount of possessions we have collected over the years. Removal day itself was smooth and faultless, even though most of our furniture was on the heavy side and our indoor plants were huge.

The removal lads Ben, Sam & Davin made what is normally a stressful day a pleasure due to their friendly nature and professionalism. They were busy from 8 in the morning until almost 9 at night manoeuvring mainly heavy furniture around a very awkward layout and did it without complaint. I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone.

Short notice of about 2 weeks before removal. Online survey carried out and then quote next day. Was less than 5 days when moving in confirmed but still fitted me in. Arrived on time and went over and above. Three storey town house not easy. Rainy day but everything protected. But when it was obvious not everything would fit in one van load, despite it being early evening, Ben rang and offered to do another trip to clear as much as possible that day. They left at 9.30pm! Great service, making what is a very stressful time a little less stressful. Can't thank them enough.
