When I became pregnant it was important for me to keep strong and fit, however I couldn’t get a trainer or class that I was happy with. After a lot of research, I managed to find a superb specialist based in New Zealand who offered the right sort of training for me. I wanted to be able to lift weights and carry on resistance work but had no idea how to do it safely. The programme taught me how to connect with my core in the right way and that is where it all began…

Ginette's strength classes are the only fitness/workout classes I have ever enjoyed and returned to. It's now been a whole year! She takes care to ask every week how we all are, how any injuries are progressing and is always checking we are doing the exercises correctly, spotting and correcting all the small but vital errors, and encouraging us to push ourselves appropriately. Ginette has helped me increase my strength and general physical and mental health, and get back after sports injuries. All done with great care, positivity and humour. Thank you Ginette.

Ginette is a real specialist in this field who gives time and great dedication to her clients. She has helped me with a long standing problem, meaning I've avoided the need for dreaded surgery. The Studio is an amazing, built for purpose, beautiful place in a tranquil setting. A pleasure to visit for "me" time. Highly recommended.

Ginette is the best trainer I've ever had, plus she's friendly, approachable and always fun to spend time with.
She has a great understanding of how the female body works especially after having a baby and combined this with *actually listening to me* to create a series of effective workouts which I've enjoyed doing (OK occasionally through gritted teeth, but that's the point, right).
My pelvic floor is incredibly glad I found her.

I had a proper meltdown around my second trimester as my abs separated - Ginette came and helped me massively not just with fitness but with confidence and diet and many other aspects of pregnancy and being a new mum. I had PT sessions and her lovely gentle demeanour and friendship throughout my pregnancy and after Ralph was born will not be forgotten. She is a star.

Ginette is a fantastic personal trainer, in just a couple of months I feel fitter, stronger and my diastasis has dramatically improved. She has also given me tools I can use everyday to maintain and improve my posture and physcial health. Ginette is also very encouraging and positive, great to work with. I would recommend her to any woman who is pregnant or had a baby (however long ago that was!).

Brilliant PT sessions - I only wish I lived closer so I could come along to the classes too! Prior to getting pregnant I was a pretty active person, but I was too scared to exercise once the little one moved in... I was worried I would do more harm than good. There is very little in the way of information / classes for pregnant ladies where I live so Lucina Fitness came along at the perfect time for me! The sessions feel great and really do give me an energy boost for the rest of the day (pretty impressive for 35 weeks pregnant). Ginette is incredibly kind, patient and encouraging too, which makes them even more enjoyable! She has made a huge difference to my pregnancy and I am very grateful! She is also full of incredibly useful tips and ideas for nutrition and general pregnancy health. I would thoroughly recommend her to all ladies! Thank you!
