Prangsta Costumiers
We provide exquisite handmade costumes that seek attention, be it in the delicate embellishment of a bodice or the outlandish proportions of a winged codpiece. Working alongside brands & agencies, venues, festivals and publications, we create immersive Prangstascapes to get lost in. Alice in Wonderland, creatures of Narnia or Gatsby socialite, we dress you down to your briefs to knock you out of this world, into any era.

Secretive gin pop-ups, tribal revivals, immersive extravaganzas and marvellous movie scenes.
Services
We have a wide selection of flamboyant garments & decadent headpieces, which our stylists will expertly combine to fit your brief. Personal styling sessions are by appointment only, which we offer in person or remotely: get in touch to book a fitting. We have bird cages and flamingos, beautiful chaise longues and rare taxidermy, goblets, candelabras, golden elephants and gigantic thrones.
Let our stylists guide you throughout our extensive collection of lavish garments, their imagination is seemingly endless! We recommend sending us your razor-sharp brief and booking your appointment a few weeks before your event, leaving time for our studio team to alter your costume and ensure it fits like a glove.
The Prangsta showrooms are full to the rafters with costumes for hire. Should you be seeking something made to measure, we also offer a bespoke made-to-hire/buy service. Our team specialises in creating spectacular yet wearable costumes. Whether you're a performer, a less conventional bride-to-be or simply have a truly special occasion on the horizon, our team has the skills and expertise to turn your vision into a reality.
Our costumes and props have been featured in established publications (Vogue, Tatler, AnOther Magazine, Esquire), as well as many prestigious venues (Annabel's, The Ned, Home House, The Ivy, Sexy Fish). Our main space is an open-plan room, filled with lavish garments and unique props, which can be made available for shoots, or hidden away.
After 4 years of absence, we've finally decided to bring our much-loved dressmaking classes back to life, starting by two complementary courses - one focused on garment construction, and one on alterations. We offer 5 classes for 150 and 10 classes for 250, in a socially-distanced environment. Our class capacity of 8 people per course allows us to fully adapt to your level and provide constant feedback.

Loved my experience at Prangsta and will use again . I was looking for a costume for Halloween and wanted something with a difference . Prangsta delivered on all levels from the lovely stylists to the incredible bespoke costumes that I would not find elsewhere . They even styled my friend who had not booked despite them being obviously extremely busy. Worth every penny.

I went to them looking for a historical costume for the Venice Carnival and end up leaving with something so much better. You need to make an appointment but was able to be seen that day. They didn't have the traditional dress but a much more fantastical version of one. The stylists were great. Every time I tried something on and asked if it was too much they said NO. It almost seemed "You can never have too much." was their mottos and it was great. Then it was my partners turn and he loved his costume every bit as mine. The best thing was the price, 4 days with what seemed like as many extras

Did a course here to learn to make a corset - it was fantastic! I learned extra techniques I didn't even know existed and everything was done to my pace. Mel was a brilliant teacher and the atmosphere was great. Now want to book another course. Highly recommend!!

I visited Prangsta for the Cakey Perry event organised by Miss Cakehead and fell in love with the venue. For starters, we were welcomed by a costumed lady on a trapeze-style swing enthusiastically turning herself upside down and so on – that is surely enough to gain five stars already.
Having had my fill of sugary treats, I took a quick look at the delectable costumes on hire by Prangsta and was blown away by how unique, detailed and interesting each of the items were.
There is an amazing-looking mad-hatters style top hat that had my friend in a frenzy of lust, whilst my magpie eyes were oogling
