When customers select a builder it is vital that they feel confident in the choice they make. The Federation of Master Builders gives accreditation to companies that meet their standards of reliability and ensure that the business is run correctly. Masterbond builders must satisfy a wide range of conditions to be allowed to display the FMB Masterbond warranty.
The minimum height for a loft conversion is 2.3 metres (7 ft 6 in). As a rule of thumb, a height of around 2.4 metres (7 ft 10 in) in the highest part of your loft is adequate. You must ensure safety for the inhabitants of a home with a loft conversion and there are minimum standards for design, health and safety and construction of a loft conversion.
This conversion is on top of the 5th floor of an apartment block in London's Docklands. The Master bedroom leads out onto a "Roof Terrace" via a velux window and door system. The terrace itself has a modern man made decking system that is non slip and non maintenance. We have installed low voltage L.E.D's.

We were very lucky to find Steph/Dan & awesome team at County Lofts. Had our gable end loft conversion built to spec within 12 week guideline. ALL of team had been with CL for many years. Whole project went to plan & various trades within team all took pride in their work & always cleared up after themselves daily. Daman & Dean were main guys & built us something that will last for many years thanks to their meticulous detail & time invested, even tho we had a fixed price.

Recently Jonathan and David from County Lofts completed our loft conversion. The work was a breeze from the early stages. No hard sell just a genuine example of willingness to work and please with a simple yet clever design package for us. Architect was very accommodating and forthcoming. Work on site was swift and executed to a good standard. Guys had further ideas on site how to tweak things slightly to benefit the overall design and overall finish.

George from County Lifts visited us for the initial visit. We were very impressed by how much he knew about loft conversions he told us all kinds of important things that other companies did not.
Once we pressed the button with them they sent their architect around and from that point we started 3 months later
The build was fantastic. James and his guys went out of their way to make sure we were happy. They were polite curtious and showed total respect to our home and family. This to us was so important

Big thank you to all at county lofts. Our new loft rooms are fantastic. Really appreciate the effort and organisation that went into making it all happen. Dave and Mark were great with getting the project completed to a great finish with minimal fuss.

County Lofts created our loft conversion a couple of months ago. There was no stress. It was all very easy the foreman on our project was Tony who was great all the trades arrived as planned and completed their tasks. We opted for a complete new roof that wasn't part of the original contract and this didn't seem to have any impact on our build or schedule. My advice would be to people just make sure you are organised with bathrooms etc as although we were pre warned they need the parts quite soon on

County Lofts impressed us from the first visit. The concept of the loft extension as it was explained to us matched exactly what we wanted to achieve, a new master bedroom with en-suite and walk in wardrobe. In execution of the project County Lofts got the fundamentals spot on – on time and on budget. The on-site build team were a pleasure to have… around, self-sufficient, organized, tidy and hard working. Work kept going without interruption, and supplies, trades people and so on arrived on schedule preventing any undue delay. Overall, we are delighted with the results.

Having recently just had our Loft Installed by County Lofts, we cannot recommend them highly enough. The entire process was so slipstreamed and seamless (for what is quite an intrusive piece of work) and County Lofts made sure they could accommodate our needs wherever possible.
