We are a small, hardworking family business with over 75 years experience in the field, offering customers a wide range of lifting services. The company was launched in 1990 when Maurice Sutton decided to follow a lifelong ambition of running his own mobile crane company.
Having worked for some of the major companies for over 25 years, Maurice's reputation had grown and, as a driver that customers repeatedly requested, he knew he could provide a service that put the needs of the customer first.He started the business with a small mobile crane and gradually expanded through referrals and repeat custom.

We provide all areas of lifting expertise to companies big and small across Manchester and the North West region, including Stockport, Warrington and Bolton. All our operatives are fully trained and safety accredited. We can carry out lifts based on CPA conditions or Contract lifting with up to 10 Million employers liability and 5 million public liability.
All crane hire companies work to the terms and conditions of the CPA (Construction Plant Hire Association) and in accordance with BS7121 ("The Safe Use of Cranes"). Suttons offer you the option of either lifts based on CPA conditions or a Contract Lift basis. Have you employees with CPCS appointed person / CPCS slinger signaller or correct insurance cover?.

Beyond laughable. Aggressive, unprofessional, rude, full of attitude and appalling language used.
Wouldn't let this guy (Anthony-owners son) lift my rubbish bins let alone work on 18 house site. My opinion will be passed onto the many developers and professionals I work with in and around Manchester.
I had been recommended this outfit through a contractor, and was told what they usually pay them. Having mentioned this on the phone to him, but adding happy to get the job done, even if it's a slightly higher price. The guy turned up and rudely stated 'You ain't getting that price'! I was happy

Anthony Sutton and the team have carried out numerous crane lifts for me over more than ten years. They have never let me down. They arrive on site on time and carry out their work in a very professional manner. They are helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They carry out a site survey, provide all calculations and H&S documents and they work in a safe and diligent manner at a very reasonable price.
