We're Scott and Chantal, a husband and wife photography team, and we're so glad you're here! We followed our hearts all the way to planning our own wedding just a year after meeting, because when you know, you know. We grew up in different countries, Chantal from Canada and Scott from Scotland, and now we call Glasgow our home.
We know just how it feels to be planning a wedding. We followed our hearts all the way to planning our own just a year after meeting, because when you know, you know. If you're anything like us, you take pleasure in nature, find the romance in pastel colours, and breathe more easily when everything feels organised so you can chill.
As parents ourselves we feel incredibly inspired when creating photos for families to be, new and longtime families. We know the importance of preserving something in our lives that cannot ever be repeated, because that time is only here once, a smile, a cuddle, a tear, first steps. Giving children experiences instead of toys can boost their brain development especially for emotional expression and memory.

If we could give more than 5 stars then we would. The Gibsons Photography have been incredible since the moment we first got in touch. They are so professional and responded very quickly to any queries we had. They happily answered all our questions and offered lots of practical advice. Scott and Chantal made us feel at ease on our wedding day. They are so friendly and kind. Both Daniel and I agree that our photo session was one of the best parts of our day as The Gibsons made it so relaxed. We couldn't be happier with choosing The Gibsons to photograph our wedding abroad in Scotland! As a bride from the US planning a wedding via email and virtual meetings, it's a bit scary to put all your faith in the vendors you choose without meeting in person first and hoping everything goes perfectly on your wedding day. Thanks to The Gibsons, it was perfect! Scott was very responsive via email when I reached out to inquire about their availability on our wedding day, and met with me on a video call to introduce himself, tell me about their business, and give me an idea of pricing for our photography

We asked Scott and Chantal to capture our wedding day after having an engagement shoot with them.
We cannot recommend them enough!
In the lead up we had to change our venue a couple of times due to the pandemic, they were helpful in recommending new venues and have been really good at communicating throughout.
On our day they were both a lovely presence and kept us at ease and having fun the whole time. Scott even helped the boys with some of their kilt accessories and where they should place them.
They were also great with guests and keeping them right for group shots.

We were lucky enough to book Scott & Chantal after a few cancellations and postponed dates for our small city wedding at The Bothy and we couldn’t recommend them enough! The perfect photographers! We spent a lot of time researching our photographers as your photos are such an important way to relive your wedding. From the very beginning Chantal and Scott were fabulous. The communication and planning was very well organised meaning that everything ran smoothly on the day and we didn't have to worry about missing any special shots that we wanted. The Gibson’s were fantastic! We planned our wedding from Canada and they were super helpful!! On the day of the wedding Scott & Chantal were great at getting all the photos we wanted and capturing great moments! I would choose them all over again as we all know the photos are the best part after the wedding is all over! We met with the Gibsons on Skype before booking them as our photographers. While speaking to them, we could tell that they were passionate about capturing our wedding day in an artful and timeless manner. Looking back on the images that they captured now, we can feel each and every moment as if we were right back there in Scotland. We just returned from our 35th year anniversary / bucket list vacation to Scotland. The trip was amazing and to commemorate our lives together, we had the Gibsons do a photo shoot for us. They were truly delightful, patient (we gave our Uber driver the wrong address...), just real people who worked hard and a little extra long to make sure our images were going to be perfect for us. I can't recommend them enough.
