Teaching as a personal trainer and martial arts instructor for over 12 years and treating my own injuries and postural imbalances as well as my members, has lead me to question many of the more conventional techniques on offer in today's health system, most of which seem more concerned with treating symptoms rather than the cause!After becoming qualified in Body Massage in 2006, I focused more on fitness and martial arts instruction.

Although sports massage techniques are used as part of a rehabilitation therapy, I also offer it as a stand alone treatment for individuals, organisations and clubs. To open up the muscle fibres, increase the blood flow and motor neuron communication to the muscles and generally prepare the body for the rigours of training and competing.
Corrective exercise is an important part of the healing process where more severe or long-term injuries are present. If left to heal by themselves, severe injuries and trauma may change the way the body moves. This is because your body compensates for things it cannot do as before, so it is very important to address these issues early before they become default settings in the bodies programming!

Long standing client of Stuart's and he knows his stuff. Prepare to work hard and reap the rewards. I am working with him to improve my posture and balance, loosen tight calves and improve hip flexibility, Stuart has gained much experience over the years and is keen to pass his knowledge on.
