It began with a chance meeting at a party - a dream was forged. Boldly going where no geek has gone before, we set out on a quest to find the one pizza that rules them all. Starting in the realms of Edinburgh's street food markets, we ventured far and wide, catering for events small or large with a small fleet of ovens bringing our handmade Neapolitan inspired pizzas to the world!
In 2018 we found some walls and our Mothership was launched in Edinburgh slinging pizzas for sit in and takeaway seven days a week in Haymarket. In summer 2020 a fellowship was formed with Cask Smugglers pairing our pizzas with their delectable cocktails.

Services
Social consciousness is paramount to Pizza Geeks. In 2018 we launched Pizza for the People, our One for One initiative that sees sales of our featured pizza matched and donated to homeless and disadvantaged people within our community. Each month we nominate a Pizza for the People. For every Pizza for the People sold we will donate one to someone in need within our community.
Pre-heat your grill to the max and put a 10 inch frying pan on the hob at medium-high. Dust your work surface using about half of the flour from the tub. Remove a dough ball from it's tub and coat it well in flour giving it a flip to make sure both sides are covered. Gently place the base into the frying pan and using the back of a spoon spread half of the sauce in a thin layer over it, again leaving the rim clear for the crust to form.

Never visit the Pizza Geeks at Cask Smugglers in Waverly! We had a booking on Saturday and ended up having to walk out due to the woeful experience we had endured. We were "greeted" by a waiter who looked confused as to why he was there. We were dumped at a table and after waiting 20 mins had to go and obtain menus from a waitress. I asked if we ordered at the bar or at our table and she assured me that someone would come go our table and take our order. More time passes with staff blatantly looking at us but deciding to ignore us instead. We went up to the bar to order....and waited longer until

Take a bow lads....take a bow....
Best Pizza we've ever had....
I got the Blanka and my better half got the Johnny Blaze...with some Blue Cheese Dragon balls...
Fresh as you like and the vibe in here is something else!
Neopolitan pizza that would not be welcome in Naples! 😅 and that's what's awesome about it!
Cheers!

We ordered two takeaway pizzas and a garlic bread for takeaway which was made whilst we waited. Took only about 10 minutes which we were more than happy with as they were also serving people in the restaurant. Food was lovely and the prices were reasonable. Friendly staff too. How do we not been so tired we would have dined in and enjoyed a glass of wine but we’d had a long day. Also worth a mention is that they do some stuff for charity as well which is nice

Ordered a pizza via a delivery app and phoned up as there was a slight issue with the order. The staff handled it so well and replaced the pizza immediately (big shout to the kind delivery man out in the pouring rain!). Thanks for the great service, and incredible pizza! Will recommended and would order again :)

What to say about this place... From the moment we stepped through the door I could tell the sauce was with them. Amazing staff who were extremely friendly as well as being greated by Otter. The decor is… awesome and geeky. The food... OMG.... highly recommend the dragon Ballz, I had the brave heart and was blown away. Best pizza I've had in the UK, possibly the best I've had outside of Naples. I will be returning anytime I'm in Edinburgh. now to come up with more excuses to visit Edinburgh

Pizza Geeks is a geek-friendly place to get a pie. They've got stuff like Jurassic Park on the tube, Mario question blocks in the air, and a number of specials based around pop culture.
The pies are kind of greasy, but everything is fresh and the crust is nice and bubbly. Prices are good and the beer is cheap, so it's worth a go.

When you've been away from home more than two weeks with a 9-year old, you get to a point where you want something non-controversial, inexpensive and comforting. For us, that meant pizza.
Pizza Geeks is tiny, as in seating for 15 to 16 in their storefront. If you want to make sure you have a seat, call ahead and let them know you're coming. We lucked out, and our party of three sat at the street-facing bar - all other spots were taken.
My son ordered the Luigi (minus the basil) and added pepperoni. I also did the Luigi, but kept the basil and added pepperoni and mushrooms. The toppings

Pizza is GREAT! The crust is so nice and think but not burnt or too crunchy. The toppings are well distributed and very flavorful. The wine was okay but not gourmet. It was good quality for the price it was offered
The interior was cute but very small.
Some of the people working were very helpful but our waitress was not very interested in helping us and left the table half way through us placing our order. The food took a long time to come out despite the fact that there weren't many other people in the restaurant.
Overall a nice place to get pizza with and edgy vibe.
