Most people are familiar with the concept of a property auction but the benefits for prospective buyers are not always clear. More efficient process. Because legal documents and other surveys are typically prepared in advance of an auction, buyers have access to important information before making an offer.
To bid at an online auction which normally lasts for two working days, please visit the property or properties in question during auction hours where there will be a live bidding box. You can register to bid here. Bidding functionality will not appear until your ID has been approved. Offers are accepted at any time before, during or after an auction: please contact the relevant team member for further information.
Key clients include landlords, homebuilders and serial investors, some of whom have rental portfolios worth more than 20m. 1. Property search. The team regularly work with investors to identify suitable properties to purchase, whether they are advertised or not. Although Open Door offers traditional estate agency services, we passionately believe that our modern approach to auction represents the best method of selling any house - be it a two-bed terraced house or a five-bed executive home. We instructed Opendoor to sell our house after being let down by many estate agents who claim to market your property who in reality just simply list it on your move and think that’s it. Shaun worked tirelessly negotiating with prospective buyers to get us the best outcome. This was all during having a new baby that was ill, and as we all know new babies bring sleepless nights. He always answered my calls or returned a call promptly. A bad experience during the search for our first home left us very reluctant to trust any other Estate Agent. However, meeting Shaun at Open Door changed that; I felt huge relief and reassurance as soon as we met him. As we walked around the property we were viewing, Shaun was bubbly and pleasant, which made both of us feel very comfortable. He was most informative, yet not pushy - allowing us time to go away and think about everything before making a decision. His help and guidance made us feel calm and relaxed about the entire process; it was a smooth transition from beginning to end!

We sold a rental property with Miran from Open Door & it was such a stress free process. He had a buyer within a week & worked the sale to a time scale that not only suited us & the buyer but also our tenant that was in the property which was important to us. We have just sold our house through Open Door in what was a very quick and painless process. Shaun was efficient and professional throughout; his valuation was honest but realistic, and our sale was agreed just a couple of weeks after putting the house on the market. We were a little wary at first of the 'modern auction' method (not knowing much about it), but actually it's a great way to sell a property if you want to mitigate the risk of a sale falling through, or if you can't afford the time for the process to spin out for months on end. I was interested in house marketed by Open Door, we were told by the agent Shaun that our offer had been accepted however when my wife visited the property for a second viewing she met the owners who told her that they were unaware of the offer and that it would not have been acceptable.
It appears that they play both parties to make a sale, dodgy practice in my book!!
The sellers after hearing what had happened removed their house from them.
I was also told by the estate agent selling my property that there are a number of solicitors who will not deal with them.

The whole process of purchasing felt very smooth and uncomplicated. I understood the need for things to progress in a timely manner, and with the sale occuring at an awkward time (near Christmas), I was thankful for the assistance provided by Open Door. Very long process no solicitors have much idea of how the process works and there’s hidden fees along the way fees include
Open door buyers fee
Solicitors auction pack selling fee ? (Why) plus my own solicitors fee
Non refundable deposit
House needed a lot of work some which they told me on handover sold as seen no comeback like there no key for the garage and back house door doesn’t open THANKS
Only way I would ever recommend is the house
