Can it be done in my home? On my floor? Upstairs aswell? These are common questions, and the answer is yes, there is a suitable and possible outcome to achieve a wetroom in your home, be it a concrete or woodern floor, upstairs or downstairs. This is a small guide on how it is done, and how that wet room becomes a possiblity.
Planning Your Wet Room from the start is crucial. The more time you spend at the preparation stage identifying your needs and desires, the more successful your bathroom project will be. Your ideal wetroom. Before you start selecting tiles, sanitaryware and fittings, it is important to spend time assessing all of your requirements.
A wetroom product which was designed for use in an upstairs, due to its slim 22mm tray profile. A waterproof construction board, which can be fitted on concrete or timber floors in a variety of sizes and drain positions which also has insulation properties making it great for use with underfloor heating, meaning all the heat generated gets repelled into the tile rather than wasting it by heating the concrete or timber joists void space below.
Due to the work involved in creating a new wetroom, and the under takling of alot of skills, we are pleased to say we are approved installers for Impey and Orbry wetrooms, and therefore completing the required training and exams. We are proud to be members of Check-a-Trade. If you aren't aware of Check-a-Trade, it is an independent company who check our accreditation, and insurance policy's to make sure we are meeting current standards.
