Services
If you can build meccano, you can build this and much more fun too. Over 5 metres by 2.6 metres, everything well packed and 90% a one person build, good instructions and an even better video. During construction we had a new back door fitted to the house and our installer said the panels were the same quality as their much more expensive conservatories.
The Edwardian conservatory is a popular style due to its streamlined elegant structure and the ease of fitting furniture into its rectangular shape. This simple structure means the Edwardian conservatory lends itself well to small spaces, its rectangular base maximising the floor space available in even the smallest garden.
A pavilion conservatory, also known as the Gable style, will give your property a more sophisticated garden room style conservatory. Pavilion conservatories are similar in style to the popular Edwardian conservatory, and they both have a rectangular base which allows for maximum floor use. The pavilion has a flush front, offering a stylish conservatory option which maximises light throughout.
A Traditional/ lean-to DIY conservatory is thoroughly practical as it makes the most possible use of your available space, not surprisingly sun lounge and lean-to conservatories are one of our most popular styles. The lean-to self-build conservatory style is very popular for cottages or bungalows as a sun lounge conservatory fits well with properties with low eaves.
The footprint of the gullwing is hexagonal, but with one long side against the property, allowing the other five sides to give subtle angles to the conservatory shape. It is these subtle angles that give the roof its distinctive wings, hence the name gullwing. The result is an elegant and indulgent conservatory perfect for entertaining.

We originally visited direct conservatories 4 U in Penzance in January 2018 by invitation of Paul Triggs the sales consultant to see a sample of a conservatory. We were both impressed by the quality of the build considering that it was a self build product and, at no time was pressure applied to gain an order.
On moving to Norfolk, we again made contact with Paul and started the process of ordering a 5 metre by 2.5 metre conservatory. We were completely out of our depth with doing it ourselves but, with Paul's help with drawings sent to us to show what it would look like and with slight modifications

I bought and installed this conservatory myself around 4-5 years ago after my neighbor also installed one. During construction they were always happy and patient answering any questions about the build. all the parts were there any it went up pretty easily. 4 years on I have had a problem with one of the double glazing panes steaming up, I sent photos and this was replaced immediately under warranty with no hassle whatsoever. This company is very professional to deal with and I have no problem in recommending them, I would definitely use again.
Just to add I have no connection with this company

Everything was fine with order and delivery, however you should be warned that the 10 year warranty is a con. Once they've got your money, if you have a problem down the line they are not interested one bit. They'll just tell you it was your fault and seeing as you can't prove otherwise and it's too late to get your money back, you're stuck! Avoid at all costs!!!

Like other reviewers in view of the 60% savings on having a 5m x 4m conservatory supplied & installed we were concerned about the quality of the product so took the trouble of going to Penzance before going ahead. Our fears were groundless as many installers use the same manufacturer and the roofing system is nationally recognised. The conservatory was delivered but not installed for 6 months but this made no difference to the excellent backup given by Direct Conservatories. No problem was too small for Ian to give it his full attention. One problem with the design meant that parts did not fit

I was very dubious about ordering a conservatory online as a lot of details could get lost in translation.
I've goto say I'm very pleased with the conservatory I purchased.
I'm not much of a person that reads instructions and I never bothered to watch the DVD tbh, but I found the assembly of it to be relatively simple.
It's very daunting when it arrives but as soon as you start chipping away at assembly, with the remaining parts pile getting smaller all the time, it soon goes up. I did most of it alone, but it really would have been easier with two.
The quality of the product is very good and
