Absolutely Brilliant. A half hour trial flight lesson was booked for our 15 year old and Jonathan the instructor was extremely engaging, interesting and professional in every way. A certificate was issued at the end of the flight and advice given as regards making sure this flight time was added towards any future license as well as information about their other courses towards the PPL. A very proud moment and very much a place we will come back to hopefully very soon.

Booked a flight experience for me and my partner. It was rescheduled a few times due to bad weather, but when it did happen it was magical! Our instructor Jonathan had a friendly vibe; calm and confident. We got to operate the controls for more parts of the flight than we were expecting which was great. When I was in the back seat I was sightseeing Bristol out a large window which was bliss. The lunch at the café was delicious. I had the chicken sandwich on fluffy white bread with chips and salad. Overall a perfect experience.

A fantastic on site café/ restaurant. I have been half a dozen times so far and had a great experience and fabulous food every time.
The english breakfast is well presented and non greasy, panini's and other lunch dishes are also top quality and we'll priced.
A very accomodating and friendly chef who also makes a mean cup of coffee adds a lot to the package.
A definite recommend from me, 10 out of 10.👍

Choosing a club was the best decision I have made in recent years. My first flight was with Jonathan in February and I was very impressed with his professionalism. After a few months of learning, I think the choice was right. Everyone in the club are friendly, professional and helpful. Until now I have had the opportunity to fly with most of the pilots from the club and I am full of appreciation for their aviation and teaching abilities.
If You would like to star journey in aviation i truly recommend Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club.

An excellent club with outstanding instructors. Always willing to try and accommodate needs and adapt to changes. I’ve been training with them for about a year and they always strike the right balance to push me on and get better. The british weather does not always align with training however that is part of aviation and the training benefit it brings is great.

Purchased a flying lesson last year for a relative who is an aviation enthusiast, this was an enjoyable experience. The instructor was an older gentleman with lots of knowledge and enthusiasm for flying. Also the onsite cafe was a great place to fill your stomach before the experience. Easy to find if you follow the instructions to Silver zone car parking. I would purchase again.

I first contacted BWAC 2 months ago when I was searching for a flying club to get a Private Pilot Licence (PPL). They got back to me via email and answered all of my questions and invited me for a visit to come see the club myself. When I visited they were very friendly and professional. I signed up for the PPL starter pack right then and there, and had my first flying lesson a couple of days later.
I have flown with more than one instructor and they have been friendly, supportive and patient. The PPL course is well structured and each flying lesson builds onto the previous one. I got a free book

Great flying school. THE place to learn to fly whether you want a special flight for you or a friend as a gift, to get your pilot licence, or become a commercial pilot.
The club has the best instructors and the widest range of planes. They also have a lovely cafe.
Well done Bristol and Wessex: keep up the great work!!
