As scrap metal dealers ourselves, we have designed our scrap metal recycling machinery to last. Many of the first McIntyre machines we built, back in the 1970s, are still working in scrap yards today. Once they get just a bit too old we can take scrap metal recycling machinery back, recondition it, and give it many more years of useful life.
Alligator shears cut scrap metal and help to separate different material types, earning you more money from your metals. Our shears are ideal for recycling scrap bar, tube, extrusions, car radiators, gear boxes and gate valves. They are also used for weapons destruction and for cutting cable prior to stripping or granulation.
Our range of Matrix Cable granulators shred, separate and recover copper and aluminium from domestic and industrial insulated wires and cables. They can also handle car looms with an optional unit that injects powder to dry the grease. There are models able to achieve 98% separation of metals from plastics and to deal with all cable thicknesses, thus improving the profitability of your cable recycling process.

I've never recycled metal before but had some copper and lead left over from some building work that was cluttering up the garden. Rang for advice, was rapidly put through to Paul who reassured me about the quantity and condition of what I was bringing in. On arrival, Paul met me and weighed the metal and then told me what it was worth - q a lot more than I was expecting :-)
Very friendly and very good dealing with people like me who have never dealt with scrap metal before. Wish I'd known about them before! Highly recommended.

It`s been many years since I took scrap to a metal merchant.Like many others I have left scrap on the pavement.No more! I did think that with the amount of scrap that i had(12kg in total)That scrap dealers would not be interestedI phoned around and JMC`s were amongst the best.Paul dealt with my query and dealt with me on site.Other than a delay of a few minutes while a previous customer was dealt with,it was a painless operation.I didn`t realise that you didn`t have to strip copper wire and i was very pleased with the price I got.I had a mixture of separated stuff,mostly it was household wiring

Watch out for this company. I ordered scissors for cutting scrap on November 7, I paid in advance and were to be delivered within 5 weeks. Unfortunately, the equipment was not delivered until February 18, that is over two months after the deadline. Do not quite think that after the deadline it is still not in line with the order because the machine on offer was supposed to do 20 operations a minute, and it does 8 !! I do not recommend this company, the second day passes after filing the complaint and the company is silent. I will report it as a scam !!
