I am a freelance Interior Designer with twenty years experience in the design industry, the last ten years spent in Interior Design working on projects of all sizes and budgets. I have a BA(Hons) degree in Textile Design and a passion for colour, texture and pattern. I love to create warm, relaxing interiors with a contemporary yet timeless appeal.

I offer a friendly and flexible interior design service in and around South Manchester, East Cheshire and North Derbyshire. Including areas such as Stockport, Cheadle, Bramhall, Wilmslow, Hazel Grove, Marple, Romiley, Disley, Whaley Bridge and New Mills. I aim to provide beautiful interior design solutions for projects of all sizes and budgets, in the comfort of your own home.
Whether it's a simple blind, a pair of curtains or a complete room scheme including soft furnishings, furniture, lighting, accessories and flooring, I can provide interior design ideas and advice for projects of all sizes and budgets. This would involve all necessary home consultations, your final scheme with samples and design board if required, and a comprehensive list of all products, suppliers and pricing.
I've never used an interior designer before, but Jo was very professional and patient with me, she was able to take my thoughts and present me with ideas from paints to fabrics to wall art, lighting, and flooring. I now have a beautiful, modern relaxing room. Jo is highly recommended.

Working with Jo was an absolute pleasure, not only has she provided us with a holiday home that we are very proud of and one that allows us to maximise our earning potential, but her lovely nature, responsiveness and her efforts to go above and beyond to make sure we got the intended results were invaluable. She worked brilliantly around our budget and to top it off, she’s an outstanding stylist; this part of the process is very much worth investing in, especially for the holiday let, it took the design to another level and made the house a home.

Jo is warm, friendly and professional. She has a great eye, can really see the potential in a space and was really helpful. I had lots of ideas, and quite a challenging space to work with, and having time with Jo helped me move into action. She helped me to focus, created a beautiful mood board, and gave me a clearer sense of direction. Jo also gave me great suggestions of a few simple things that I could do on my own (as I wanted to do quite a lot of it myself), and some excellent contacts for the bigger jobs. She had images of completed jobs she'd worked on, samples of flooring and wall colours

I engaged Joanne to smarten up my 'man cave' stone terraced cottage in the Peninne foothills before putting it up for sale. I found her thoroughly professional, creative and understanding of what can be achieved. The improvements were such that the house sold within four days of being put on the market.

At one time I would never have imagined myself using the services of an interior designer as in the past I have always managed to put together a room myself. However when the time came to re-decorate and update our lounge I found that there was such a vast array of colours, styles, designs etc. to choose from that it was just becoming all to time consuming in our busy lives and something that was supposed to be enjoyable was becoming a chore – that was when Joanne came to the rescue!
