Services
R.M.Jones Farmcentre is a family run business based in Hay-on-Wye with Farmcentres in Abergavenny, Hereford and Ledbury. The business was started in 1960 by Ron Jones the pharmacist in the Chemists' shop in Hay-on-Wye. In those days farmers would pull up outside the pharmacy in their tractors and trailers to ask him to "take a look" at their livestock.
R.M.Jones was established to provide the communities of the border counties with a comprehensive range of farming and agricultural related services and products. We are at the end of the phone to help and assist you with all your animal health and agricultural questions and queries. We will be only too happy to use our expertise and knowledge for your benefit.
R.M.Jones' agronomy team provides a crop advice and crop management service across the border counties and into Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. To strengthen this R.M.Jones has a joint venture with Agrii. This allows us to access Agrii's significant research and development program with over 50,000 plots and 260 replicated trials.
Here are at R.M.Jones we are great believers in using the right medicine at the right time, even if that's advising you not to treat your animals. With the increasing risk of resistance to many wormers, it is now more important than ever that we treat these medicines with respect and only use them when they're really needed.
We stock a range of smallholder focused equipment, supplies, medicines, feed, and nutritional supplements for a variety of stock including sheep, goats, cattle, pigs and poultry. Visit our Farmcentres to view the extensive range of products we stock or contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Two ladies helped me pick some horsey items to post to my 13 year old Granddaughter who has just taken on a loan pony. The ladies were so helpful and enthusiastic, they gave great advice and helped me get the best for my budget. The parcel has arrived with our Granddaughter and we have had the loveliest message to say how pleased she is with her new kit. We will be back for the boots! THANK YOU
