Our extremely popular Summer Young Learner course is perfect for teenagers aged between 13 and 17 years old.
You will work on all language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) but we work especially hard with areas that you may not have the opportunity to develop as much at home. Loxdale team in getting 12 areas of strength in our latest inspection from the British Council, the body which checks and accredits our industry. This represents a tripling of our score in 5 years and shows the hardwork, passion and dedication of the staff. Past, present and future Loxdale students will be pleased to note that the school got full marks in the Teaching and Learning section, with a new strength awarded in all available sections.

Our online English classes will help you improve your English level by practising all your English skills. We teach by working on all aspects of English including speaking, listening, writing, reading, pronunciation, presentations and grammar. We also integrate British culture into our lessons so you will learn about British life too.

I studied at Loxdale English Centre during the springterm 2020. The teachers and staff are kind and warm and makes the school a welcoming atmosphear. The quality of the courses are high and you get a variated and developing education at Loxdale. The school is located in beutiful and calm surroundings close to both nature and cities like Brighton and London. I definitely recomend to study here!

I applied for "performing arts" at loxdale and was expecting a school were I would learn both english and music/performing arts the whole term, but that was not quite the case. This school is perfect for the ones who want to study english, the teachers are incredible! But for the ones who may look for a drama/music school, this is not the place. Although, I had a wonderful time and certainly improved my english and learned about different interesting topics!

I had the best month of my whole life here! The teachers are amazing and help you with everything. The social activities are great to make some friends for life. And I learned a lot of English. The distance to brighton center was short and I love this city. Would recommend it defnetly. You won't regret it

I love this school. I'm not saying it just as an advertisement I truly love Loxdale. Moving to another country can sometimes be difficult but the people at Loxdale made me feel right at home. It takes time to get used to speaking English all the time but it's definitely worth it! You end up with an increased vocabulary and more confidence.
As my friend who came to visit me said: "It feels more like a school than a home." And that's how I feel! The teachers actually care about you as an individual! I will miss this place.

The best place I've ever worked. A really friendly team of experienced teachers, interesting people from around the worl, and a beautiful building to work in. I still remember the feeling of entering Narnia I first felt when I came up the drive for the interview, and each day I remember how lucky I am to work here. A bit of Loxdale magic every day.
