Edith Wilmot Interflora Florist is the longest running flower shop in Bristol having been Established 1895; one of the first jobs was to decorated a Tram for Queen Victoria's visit! Geoffrey Jones bought the shop from Mrs Wilmot in 1948 and ran it until 1973 when his son Peter Jones took over.
Peter with his wife, Ann, grew the business and it became one of Bristol's best known suppliers of floristry services serving the City and its surrounding areas.Now Peter has handed the day to day running of Edith Wilmot to his son, Alexander, who continues the continuity being the third generation in this special family business.

UK National flower deliveries and flower deliveries outside of these areas will be forwarded on your behalf through a local Interflora Florist or another Florist, if required. Your order will be delivered between 9am and 5.30pm on the day of your choice (not days we're closed, nor on the day we process your order).
Cut stems to length (removing at least 2 inches/5cm) with a sharp knife. This will cut off any air lock formed when the flowers were in transit and cause minimum damage to the stem structure. A diagonal cut is best as it exposes the maximum surface area for water uptake. Use fresh lukewarm water with the sachet of flower food provided.

I needed to order a bouquet of flowers internationally. The website was easy to understand and Edith was a pleasure to deal with. She gave me exactly what I requested. Mothering Sunday during lockdown...and Edith Wilmot yet again surpassed my expectations...absolutely amazing flowers delivered exactly as requested and a very happy Mum! I have used Edith Wilmot for many years and they always deliver amazing flowers and so well presented. As a side note my Mum told me today that her wedding flowers were also from Edith Wilmot...nearly sixty years ago!

I've only ever ordered online from this florist, but they have been a reliable and beautiful way to give gifts/flowers to our loved ones from abroad. We prefer to use local florists rather than large online retailers and Edith Wilmot has a great selection and easy to use website. They even offer to take a picture of your order being received! I will definitely use them again and again for our floral needs!

Since being asked to decorate a tram for Queen Victoria's visit in 1895 Edith Wilmot has been providing the people of Bristol with a high quality and professional florist service. Alexander is the third generation of the family now at the helm, doing some amazing things.
