We run regular dinghy and keelboat racing throughout the season, as well as cruising days, rallies and meets - for motor boats as well as yachts. A prominent RYA affiliated training centre, we provide regular training courses and host a breadth of racing and sailing regattas, championships and events.

Services
A warm welcome awaits you at Royal Lymington Yacht Club from our stunning riverside location. Whether your passion is powerboats, motor cruisers, yachts, dinghies or paddleboards you'll find excellent facilities, first class training, expert waterside services and a thriving social programme for all ages on and off the water.
Moor overnight on our private pontoon with electricity and water(subject to availability). Experience first class cuisine in our restaurant and enjoy our all-day menu in our bar or on our sun terrace, with stunning riverside and Solent views. A respected RYA Training Centre for power and sail, children and adults, including beginners courses and women-only courses.
2022 will be an incredibly special year, the club will be celebrating 100 years since its foundation in 1922. We are planning a year of celebrations, building on our existing successful annual events on and off the water including a Centenary Regatta Day and Apres Sail Festival, and a spectacular Centenary Party.

We host regular keelboat and dinghy racing, Club events and large-scale National and International regattas.
Our membership doesn't end in Lymington; you'll find friends flying the club burgee in far flung places as we reciprocate with clubs across the UK and around the world. Members of clubs with whom we have a reciprocal arrangement are very welcome. The clubs shown below offer reciprocal facilities to members of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

A great bunch of people and no matter who you are, you’re welcome. Good social side to the Club as well as the more serious stuff of sailing. ‘But i don’t race boats!’ - no need to as there are many who just like to cruise in company. ‘But I don’t have a boat!’ - well come along as crew. A good place to drop your anchor, be it cold and chilly or warm and wet.

The club has offered a fantastic experience for my children dinghy sailing, as well as opening many opportunities for myself and my wife. It really is a family club with an excellent reputation. The initial cost was a little concerning but if you embrace the club and get out on the water it really is good value for money.
