The dance of Argentine tango is well suited to many kinds of special events, from wedding occasions and gifts for a loved one to team building and communication skills workshops. Within the unique richness of tango there is something for everyone, whether it be light-hearted fun, playful passion or insight.
In tango there is a 'leader' and 'follower'. Through the embrace, the leader offers invitations to the follower for where and how to step. The follower decides in what way they will accept the leader's invitations. Both leader and follower try to maintain harmony and connection through the embrace, and with the music, and so the dance is born.
I really wanted you to know how good I think you are. Subject knowledge is easy to come by. Breaking it down into steps, and having the skill to communicate it is entirely another. I'm graded outstanding in all my lessons ( being a show off) but I'm sharing that because it means I get asked all the time to review teaching, and more importantly, the impact of progress in all sorts of lessons.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Joe for being such an inspirational tango teacher and fueling my desire to keep learning tango. I haven't found another instructor who has Joe's depth of knowledge or experience, Joe's passion for the dance is infectious. I can't wait to have even more lessons!

My partner and I have been having private lessons with Joe for a little while now in preparation for our wedding. Joe is a really incredible teacher. He is clear, confident and corrects mistakes so wonderfully. He also makes an effort to understand and discuss why a move isn't working to help us best correct it. And, most importantly, every session is so much fun and we always laugh! I'm so grateful to Joe for his patience in teaching us to tango! I'd recommend Joe in a heartbeat. I'd also thoroughly recommend learning Argentine Tango - it's a really wonderful way of connecting and moving and dancing

I booked a couples Tango lesson for my Wife and I, the lesson was very enjoyable, we have a young daughter and rarely have time to ourselves, this lesson was for 2 hours but the time just flew by, Joe is extremely professional, he will make you feel comfortable and install a self confidence in you from the moment the misic is turned on. We can highly recommend Joe, just give tango a go and you will enjoy it.

After an overnight flight from Texas to London, we arrived in Southampton eager to review our Tango “skills” before cruising the next day. Joe was an excellent instructor and we learned so much in this lesson. After our cruise, we will spend several days in Southampton and we plan to take more lessons with Tango Joe if time allows. He is a great instructor!

Joe is a great teacher ! I've had class and private lessons with him and have learned a lot from both . He explains things clearly and finds ways of teaching suitable for beginners like me but also more advanced dancers,keeping the student engaged and challenged while slowly building confidence in tango .Thankyou Joe 😊

I loved my first private Tango lesson with Joe. It was so smooth and we covered a lot for a first time lesson. Joe is very professional and works with the student's level and way of learning.
