Boots quoted me 90 to re-lens my glasses but i got them done here for just 39 and in 4 days, brilliant!

Fantastic locally run familt opticians.
Rachael and Dave have been nothing short of helpful and I, (being new to the glasses club) have been extremely helpful and nothing has been an issue, I was also able to bring some frames to be fitted with varifocals, which wasn't as much as I expected it to cost.

I had an eye test with Boots, their glasses were expensive so I took the route of ordering online, not a great idea as it turned out, I wasn't totally happy but I think it was down to the pupil distance measurement, I had to measure myself, again not great.
This I now accepted to be a false economy.
My daughter spotted Spectacular Eyewear and pointed me in their direction.
I was passing and called in, right from the start I felt really welcome, Rachael and Dave are the business owners and they are a husband and wife team. Rachael just listened to what I was saying, I told her about the Boots

Spectacular is just what it says both in quality and service but also genuine personal one to one attention in your comfort in your conversion new lens in your old frames. Have trouble with my old (Screw seized) this was no problem with their technicians. My glasses arrived less than a week. It was so nice to have a old friend back. This is the… best place to renew your old glasses or replace new frames at a discount price compared to other big companies that they only want to sell their own frames. I went to Rachael after having an eye test done with a sun issue.
I really struggle with the sun both driving and riding my motorbike but sunglasses are no good as they are too dark when passing under the tress or tunnels.
Rachael got me some prescription varifocals complete with yellow tint and had them made to fit my Oakley frames.
Now only need the one pair whilst out and they're a game changer.
Thank you Rachael and I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I Wanted new lenses in my own frames, and so approached Rachael @ Spectacular Eyewear in Crossgates, Leeds 15. From start to finish the whole experience was stress free, informative, professional and all at a great price. Rachael was exceptional in her expertise, no forced selling, just amazing advice and helpful information. My glasses were ready in 1 week and i didn't walk out of that shop until Rachael was 100% happy and that i was happy with my glasses. I visited Specsavers and purchased some glasses with vary-focal lenses that were at the top end of the their price scale. When they arrived i simply couldn't see unless I was looking straight ahead, the peripheral vision was shocking - Specsavers did refund me and suggested I either paid an awful lot more money on their custom lenses or look elsewhere for wide-vision lenses....
Following this I went to see Rachel at Spectacular Eyeware - what a difference in customer service and product quality. Rachel knew

Great service , good recommendation from my hairdresser . Great price and very helpful and knowledgeable staff . Went to collect my glasses today and he even adjusted my old ones to fit and sit better to use as a spare pair .
