I entered the legal profession in the early 1970's training to be a solicitor with a respected Manchester law firm specialising in personal injury, trade union and employment law. Afterwards I joined a Manchester based solicitors' private practice where I became a partner. In 1987 and whilst with that firm I qualified as a notary.
I have had since several roles in the legal profession both in private practice and in the public sector. I have continuously provided the full range of notarial services from the time of qualification to-date.

Through full time senior roles in private legal practice, legal administration, public service and in local government I have a breadth and depth of legal experience. I have handled high profile cases of judicial review involving child protection, mental health, and social care issues and have had financial and technical successes in litigated high value commercial and other disputes.
