Decorated in a "modern vintage" style, there is comfy seating and even a box of toys to keep any visiting children amused. We offer a relaxing, but fun, atmosphere and have full air-conditioning.

To help complete your special day, we stock a superb choice of tiaras, hair vines, veils, shoes, jewellery, lace and maribou jackets and stoles, lace garters, gifts, special storage boxes and travel boxes for taking your precious gown abroad. After your special day we offer a specialist cleaning service.
It is usually advisable to make an appointment in advance, this will ensure that you have the personal attention of one of our experienced staff to help you. Weekends in particular are very popular times! You are welcome to book via the contact form on our website, by email, phone or in person.

Everything about my dress was beautiful. I knew I was looking for a dress that was a bit unique and different and Proposals had the perfect dress for me. So many beautiful dresses to choose from. I never felt rushed making a decision in the shop and staff were helpful with advice. Choosing a dress can be a bit overwhelming until you get into the swing of it but everyone was very friendly and offered advice when needed. I Have already recommended Proposals to a friend.

Proposals have been amazing helping my find my dream wedding dress! I went into my first appointment not really knowing what I wanted and their amazing team were patient with me and came up with so many options that I hadn’t even considered. They have been incredible all the way from the first appointment, up to packing up my dress to go on an aeroplane. They have been so lovely and helpful and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience finding my wedding dress.

From the moment my experience started at Proposals it was outstanding, the team were extremely helpful in finding the perfect dress and helping me customise it to my needs.
Due to Covid we had to postpone and I collected my dress, and kept it at home until I was ready for fittings. After my first fitting the dress was amazing and fitted perfectly and then I had different things added to personalise my dress. The team were amazing and listed to all my needs and my dress was perfect thank you so much for all your help. I highly recommend!

Sadly after my dress arrived the bodice was altered in such a way that the statement Lena back was raised too high and therefore the dress didn’t look or fit as it should (before and after). I think I cried for 2 days solid knowing after 8 months of waiting, the alterations wrote off the dress less than 2 weeks before the wedding.
The shop allowed me to take the shop sample instead, however rushed the hem alteration of sample leaving the skirt too short and the underskirt showing.

The staff are amazing, they look after to you throughout the whole experience, and their customer service can't be faulted.
