Our founder, Neil Hampton acquired over 35 years of experience working internationally in IT, maintenance and electrical repairs, including component level repairs & quality control.
Portable appliance testing (PAT Testing) or the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment is an essential part of any maintenance program. PAT testing is proven to be the best way to safeguard your business, employees & visitors safety within your premises. A regular preventative maintenance program also ensures that all reasonable steps have been taken to comply with current health & safety legislation.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is the inspection and testing of an electrical installation within any commercial, domestic or industrial premises. Fixed wire testing is necessary because all installations deteriorate with age, other factors include damage, wear and tear, overloading of electrical circuits, corrosion and environmental influences.
Thermal imaging can play an important part of your electrical maintenance as it can detect system faults that may otherwise go unnoticed. A thermographic survey is a simple non-intrusive method to monitor and predict when a system might fail. Heat spots recorded during the survey can be investigated further to help increase the life expectancy of electrical and electronic equipment and help prevent fires caused by excessive temperatures.
Outdated, faulty or ineffective fire extinguishers can place lives and property at risk in the case of a fire emergency. That is why it is critical to have fire extinguishers on your premises serviced annually by qualified engineers. Fire authorities are the main agency responsible for enforcing the law.

We recently used HT PAT Testing Ltd to test a number of items in our small kitchen. I enquired about availability at 11.30am, and we had a tester by 1pm. I didn't think we'd find someone so quickly with it only being a small job but HT were very accommodating. Professional & speedy service. Would recommend.

The team are all really friendly, helpful & reliable. from Paul Duffy who deals with our bookings to the engineers on site, nothing is too much trouble, we had to cancel a visit at short notice due to Covid restrictions & this was re-arranged with ease. We use them across multiple sites and the booking, attendance and invoicing process is spot on.
