Fyne Tackle is an excellent shop for all your fishing needs. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all of your fishing based questions. We not only got all of the supplies we needed for a good price, but were also recommended superb places in the local area to go fishing. The staff have also set up the store to be safe and considerate to visitors during current COVID-19 restrictions. Totally recommend.

We're on holiday in Lochgilphead and went into the tackle shop for some bait and advice on where to go. The guy in the shop was very helpful and gave us lots of places to try and pointed us to a good spot for flounder on the LRF gear. I caught my first flatfish on a lure there! He did us a good deal on a new rod too.

Very friendly shop in the main shopping street in Lochgilphead. We only went in there to buy a 'midge net' (to be worn over one's head to keep the midges at bay - not to catch them) and some midge repellent for my long-suffering husband, certainly not for fishing tackle (I'll leave it to someone else to review that side of the business). However, I must say that the owner was extremely helpful and we all had a nice chat while deciding what to buy. (Incidentally, the net hasn't been worn yet because the recommended repellent worked pretty well!)
