CBT or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a type of therapy that has been shown to be helpful with all kinds of problems including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, panic attacks, and phobias to name but a few.

CBT can help you solve problems by helping you understand the connections between how you think about events, how you feel, and how this influences the way you respond in particular situations, and how this may be important in causing and maintaining problems. Each part is connected and influences every other part.
If you wish to pay for sessions using a health insurance policy please mention this when booking your appointment. It is also important that you speak to your insurance provider before arranging your appointment. They will be able to advise you what they require you to do before beginning therapy. They may require you to obtain a referral from your GP or a mental health specialist before they will authorise your claim.
It's understandable that you might have questions about what to expect when you come to see a therapist for the first time. We have provided answers here to the questions we get asked most frequently, but please feel free to contact us if you're question hasn't been answered or you'd like to know more.
